I absolutely love the site! I've had no inspiration for drawings lately, and I think being part of an adoptables site would spark a little muse in me.
About how often are you online?
Anywhere from two to seven hours a day, give or take a couple hours.

Reason for wanting to join:
Looks like a pretty neat site from what I've seen, and I have a feeling that I'll join sometime in the near future with or without an artist job. I'm co-Admin for a small, sci-fi based website called Moon Crater Plaza using the same name (Myth), so I have some experience in helping sites run (although I stalk and mod there more than post, I'm sorry to say).

I have both GIMP (which I prefer) and Photoshop Elements (which came with my tablet and have not yet bothered to learn how to use), so this might be a good chance for me to learn how to properly use Photoshop, not just what I learned in tech ed in eighth grade.

About how often are you online?
As much as I possibly can, generally three-four hours a day

Favorite Colors to use:
dark blues, greens and reds. Occasionally pastels

Least favorite colors to use:
Most neon colors (except neon green and blue), black. I used to hate brown, but it's grown on me

My characters thread (all but a couple in "characters of a species" and "other characters" are self designed).
I'm working on some more at the moment to add, using my own lines so I can sell them at my art shop.

Should I add character references to this form? I can get the Admin of the site I mentioned to write up a reference for me, and there's a few people on here who can vouch for me (Raini.Rats, ~Scotland's Pond~ to name a few, although Pond isn't on here much anymore)

Reason for wanting to join:
Reasons for wanting to? Let me count them all...
- It's a brand new site, allowing for new opportunities in almost every direction. While it has the potential to be great, it could be great in any number of ways, and that I could be a part of helping it to greatness is awe-inspiring.
- I already love it! I've only been registered for two days and I've been exploring the forums, messing around with my signature and avatar, and discovering all the nuances that make Chibifurs unique. It's very fun site, and the more I can immerse myself in it the better. <3
- I think such an assignment could help me improve dramatically as an artist, both in ability and in work ethic. The more I draw the better I become, and I think I could get a LOT better through Chibifurs.
- Besides me improving as an artist, it would also help me feel better about my art. Being an artist for a site like Chibifurs would be a HUGE honor for me, and it would help me feel better about what I draw.
- I think it would be incredibly fun! Places like Chibifurs and CS are very much communities, and immersing myself in a community by being an artist would mean a lot for me.

Minimum of an hour daily, usually much more.
Favorite Colors to use:
Hmm...I'm a firm believer in the idea that it's not so much the color but the pattern and personality that makes up a design. I use every color when drawing. Still, I often find myself leaning towards natural, calming shades like blue and brown. But you know....whatever works gets used!
Least favorite colors to use:
Again, no color is really "bad." I find it harder to place neon shades into a design, and it usually comes out eye-burning... but I'll use them every now and then.

Here's a litter of dogs I made a little while back. They're not my best designs by any means, but they show off how I work in a variety of different colors, with line edits (the lace, the spikes, the bracelets, the crappy wings that I didn't have enough time to finish...), and with wolves...duh!
