Is join.me safe and secure?

I really need to know if Join.me is safe and secure.

I'd say yes, because the people that join to watch can't control your screen unless you allow them permission too.

I have used it myself and have had no problems at all. As stated above, they will be able to control your computer if you gie them permission and you can easily remove permission or override them if they try something. You can also pause the screen they see if there is something you don't want them to see ect.

Yes, I've had it before, but my dad doesn't think it's safe for the following reasons.
• Can things from the person/people watching your screen's computer get into yours?
• Can their computers give virus?
• Will downloading join.me do any harm to your computer?

The first question I don't get. You won't be able to catch anything from someone elses screen, you'll just be able to see their screen.
Well my first answer answers the second. Unless they give you a bad link in the chat and you click it, then yes. Otherwise no.
No. Join.me is safe and trusted. I've used it quite a few times without any problems.

Iv even downloaded Joinme, and I use it very often its a very good, secure, though you do have to be wary of what other people send you through it, but you could say its your own fault if you take something someone gives you without checking it, not join me.

Join.me is very safe me ad my rp buddies use it too and to be on the safe side i pause the screen when i need to go into my control pannel on my comp

Does it show your phone number when you chat or just day guest or something? I'm using an iPhone/iPad for this.
