Love MMORPG's?

Postby FeFe » Sun Apr 08, 2012 1:54 pm

Welcome to the world of Saphael - Home to many different types of people and animals. Beautiful landscapes span the continents.

The eternal guardian, is in an unending sleep. In his absence, vicious monsters have claimed the land as their own. Causing hardship, heartache, and a loss of will throughout the land.

The leaderships of the different territories have called on the well-known and respected Sage, Babama, for aid. After many sleepless nights of researching the ancient scripts, he has found a solution- The legendary Sprite Messenger is due to come forth and help reclaim the land.

Babama calls upon Saphael's children- Little Elf-Fairy like creatures called Sprites to scout out for the one that may one day become the legend foretold. Many have gone out and come back empty-handed. However a few have come back with hope in their hearts, and names of those that may one day fulfill the prophecy.

Asleep in your room one night, just shortly after your 16th birthday, you are awoken by a shimmering light. You open your eyes and see a creature that you were told was to be just a myth: A Sprite! It speaks to you in a language that you don't understand at first, but it all becomes clear to you. Your destiny. Your calling. You are to become the one in the legend.

The next morning, you set sail for Siwa Island to see Sage Babama, and begin your training to reunite the land. To rid the world of the horrors that plague the people, and to reawaken the Guardian. To become the master of Sprites, and use their powers to help you bring peace to a land that has long ago lost hope.

Your adventure begins here. This is your story. You cannot believe it to be true, so you think this is all a dream. But, in your heart, you know this to be very real. Welcome to the world of Grand Fantasia!

Game Mechanics:

Welcome to Grand Fantasia. This is a free to play MMORPG with a web mall and in game item mall. Basic controls are fairly easy upon entering the game. You are able to move with the standard W A S D and can also use the Arrow Keys. X allows you to sit/stand, Z allows you to release or put away your weapons and space bar allows for jumping. You are only able to make 3 characters. When making a character there are many different styles you can choose from. You are even able to see what a set of the gear will look like depending upon what class you press. In the character creation screen you will see a little blob-like thing dancing around your feet. That is known as your sprite. He's your little helper throughout the game. He can make anything from weapons to armor (you just have to choose what you want him to make). Players are unable to talk in the main talk channel, World, until they are level 15. Max level in the game is 85. To see more visit http://wiki.aeriagames.com/grandfantasi ... ols_and_UI

Servers:
When you first open the game and sign in, you will notice there are 3 servers to choose from; Quill, Gaia & Bodor.

Quill: It is the newest server. Most of the new players go here to start out. It has 3 channels
Gaia: This is the botting server. It is the only server where botting is legal. It has 4 channels
Bodor: This is the more serious server. A lot of your older players are here. It also has 4 channels.

Classes:

When you first enter the game after making your toon, you start off as a Novice. This is the only time your like everyone else. At level 5 you get your first class change and automatically given level 6. (after each class change you will gain 1 free level)

At level 5 you can choose from these 4 class changes:

Priest

At level 30 is your third class change. This is the class change you get to choose what you want to be from two choices and will stick with you for many levels.
If you chose Warrior – either Berserker or Paladin
If you chose Archer – either Assassin or Ranger
If you chose Mage – either Necromancer or Wizard
If you chose Priest – either Cleric or Sage

Finally at level 65 you get your final class change. Depending upon what you chose at 30 is again dependent upon what you get now.
If you chose Berserker you will become a Warlord
If you chose Paladin you will become a Templar
If you chose Assassin you will become a Darkstalker
If you chose Ranger you will become a Sharpshooter
If you chose Necromancer you will become a Demonologist
If you chose Wizard you will become an Archmage

Sprites:
Your sprite is like your pet in the game. It can make your armor and weapons depending upon what you choose when you make your character. On the character creation screen is where you can customize your sprite. It is there you choose what you want him to make based on what you want to be. (example: you want to be a wizard, you'd have your sprite make staffs or mage apparel armor). After making your toon you watch in the introduction how your sprite is put into a gem. When you first get in game you'll see at the bottom by your skill bar that same gem. If you left click it that will open your sprite's cottage. If you right click it you are able to summon your sprite (aka, bring it out of it's home to fight alongside you). When looking at your sprites, you can see there is space for two more. A player can hold up to 3 sprites at a time. Each sprite is able to be customized with costumes and furniture to help aid you. Each sprite also can collect items to help you make the gear you need to progress in the game.

Guilds:
Grand Fantasia has a wide assortment of guilds spanning across all 3 servers. When you first enter the game it will pop up a list of guilds that you can view and request to join. If your uncertain you can wait until your a higher level and start looking for a guild. If you'd prefer to be in a guild made by yourself you can see a Guild Affairs Officer in one of the three main starter towns; Jale, Kaslow & Ilya.

PvP:
There is Player vs Player or PvP in Grand Fantasia. There are different level brackets of PvP as well, along with 3 different arena's you can PvP in. You are able to get rewards for PvP'ing and earning PvP points.

Level Brackets:
31-40
41-50
51-60
61-70
71-85

PvP Arena's:
Sprite's Battlefield
Hellfire Battlefield
Whitesands Battlefield
