Halloween 2017 dragons will drop all day in all biomes, and they are the ONLY thing that drops. There is no limit to how many CB Halloween dragons you can get. Just the amount of eggslots that you have.

To everyone playing, a quick reminder that DC does a Halloween event too. You should plan on having some egg slots open to catch previous years Halloween dragons in the AP on 10/25 and then this years NEW Halloween dragon on 10/31.

Here is a quick overview of what goes on at DC for their Halloween Event and some FAQs.

When does Halloween start on Dragon Cave and end.?

One week before Halloween, Oct. 25th to Oct.31st. T

What happens?

First, all old Halloween dragons are able to breed true again. Halloween Dragons on your scroll (and everybody's scroll) that are bred during this time will ALWAYS produce Halloween offspring. They can also breed more than one! Clutches of 3-4 are quite common. You can only keep one per clutch, the rest auto abandon to the AP.
Halloween eggs in the Abandoned Page instantly go to the front of the queue, so you'll see them hit there as soon as they start to be bred.
There are literally THOUSANDS going through the abandoned page, so you'll have no trouble getting some.

Second, there Trick or Treating. On DC, Trick or treating is the release of around 50 or so cute little pixel sprites for us to collect on site. You can see mine >here<! If you have never played before you will get a new badge on your scroll.

How Does that work?

Every 10 minutes or so, a sprite will appear on site . You might have to refresh for it do so, it won't auto-pop up if you're just sitting on one page.
Just click on it to collect it!
Don't worry about losing track of them, because once they appear they'll be on every page you visit until you grab it.
Then wait and repeat! It might sound like a lot of collecting, but it's actually pretty easy to do during the course of normal play.
You won't see any duplicates and they are non trade-able, just collectable.

Third, there will be some sort of silliness but we never know what. In the past events have included choose-your-own-adventure stories, brewing potions that temporarily gave your dragons silly sprites, and playing a few different mini games. Only TJ knows for sure.

All that stuff goes on until Halloween 10/31 when...The new Halloween Dragon drops!

When the clock strikes midnight on 10/31 Halloween ends...

Halloween dragons no longer can breed (oh, and so you know--Halloweens bred this year are placed on automatic cooldown so they can't breed until after Halloween, too). However, all those glorious Halloween eggs in the AP will continue to stay there. In the last few years, we've had so many that the AP was filled with Halloweens for nearly a full week after it was over!

Both trick or treating and the event will also end.

my first cheese dragon ( was supposed to trade them a golden dragon but my dragon is refusing to breed with the drag i want)

Thanks, I should clarify that! You can catch as many as you like of the ones that hit the AP (From previous years) but then when the new 2017 Halloween dragon drops you are limited to 2 of those.

I played DC in 2015...but I quit soon after, - so I've never been in any sort of DC event ;v;

holy moly, I tried to turn an egg into a vampire and I got the whole "the egg turned into a vampire egg but the other dragons were repulsed by it and tossed it" message. rude dragons! I had no idea that could happen.

I'm pretty sure you can catch as many of the new Halloween drops as you have egg slots. For example, I have five caveborn Desipis dragons from 2014.
You aren't limited to only two, it's only like that with some other Holiday dragons.
So when the 2017 dragons hit the cave, snatch up as many as you can!
