I just traded my black long for some leap year wings. Anyone know if it was fair?

Yes, it was fair. I had a pair myself that I traded for a black long, and I generally see people always asking for at least a black long when they're trading things like those wings, the golden pirate hat, and some other older rare items.

What sorts of items go for that much? I don't know if any of my items would go for much; the oldest I've got is a rare heart locket, rare pigtails, and as for den items, a rare table with orb ?? edit;; i've also got a rare viking hat, a rare witch hat, rare gazelle horns, a rare glove or two, rare black halos, rare golden headphones, rare tiara, and a rare jester hat..

I honestly don't remember all of the items that go for that much. ^^" I just know that the Leap Year clothing items from 2012 go for long collars depending on the item, and that some items like the golden pirate hat go for that much because they haven't been released as prizes.
Most of the items you've mentioned aren't worth a lot because you can win them in adventures and in the Daily Spin presents.

Scary Unicorn Horns are only worth a clothing beta or two, maybe a den beta at the most.
Yes, there are plenty of other pets that are valuable. In fact, the golden bunny isn't even that valuable anymore. The ones that are the most sought after right now are pet otters, pet seals, pet groundhogs, nonmember pet phantoms, and pet doves, which are all promo pets.
Gingerbread wings are likely only worth a den beta or so. They weren't released in the Jamaaliday Calendar this year, but they are still pretty common items.

Those are only worth a den beta. You can win fox hats in The Forgotten Desert and Return of the Phantoms on hard mode.

I think you could fetch a long bad wrist with all that... it depends on the person though.
