2022 Halloween Event - Casual Chat V.1 [read first post]

Did anyone else just have a weirdly harder time getting the many different bats than anything else? It was very refreshing and nice to see the bats getting some more love from the community ngl!

at the end of all of this, i only got 143 banners because of work, school, and personal stuff that kept me offline most of the event. but i was able to get the entire set of pets AND items, and i found myself pretty lucky to receive a few gifts from people, pull some of the full sets of free pets naturally, and trade rather easily for what i needed.

when i was having a hard time someone gifted me my first green ratipede. i ended up with three others from the banner as well as two banner PPS rats (first one i traded for then i ended up getting one naturally), but i got no banner dragon. because of my busy personal life, i ended up massively overpaying for the banner dragon in a trade, which i didn't personally mind because i didn't want the stress of knowing i wouldn't pull one, but because i spent a PPS ratipede AND 100C$ for it, i fear i messed up the economy for the dragon a bit.

that said, i still wish i had pulled one, because i love gifting people and have been trying to gift people their incomplete pets, and i would have loved to have another dragon to give someone as a very nice gift, or even do a giveaway for it to give multiple people a fair shot at it.

These seem pretty low. Especially the dragonipede. But I don't have any data from the previous Halloween events I've participated in to compare it with.

I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of token bats we got! Last year there were only 4. I really like their lineart and we pretty much only get them for Halloween.

Just wanted to add my statistics onto this. Out of 300 banners, I got:
1x ratipede (0.33%)
1x pps ratipede (0.33%)
so in total, I had about a 0.67% chance of pulling a banner pet, which seems a tad ridiculous.

Out of 158 banners I got:

1x Ratipede
1x PPS Ratipede
2x Dragonipede

I hit the banner limit on the last day and got 2 of each banner pet. A lot of people seem to be holding on to them until the event is over and rarities are released, I am pretty sure that happens every year but I may be wrong Last year I only pulled one banner dragon and one of each of the banner dogs, I think, so this year was way better for me (twice as good!). That's just my perspective, I see those odds!!

Out of 300 banners I got:
3 grown rats
2 pps rats

My final count ended up being 203 banners with 3 banner pets, all the green ratipede.

I posted somewhere earlier in the thread some stats from last year where I had I think 178 banners and 1 vampire dog, 3 snake dogs, and 1 dragon.

Pretty interesting comparison I think, it seems like I was a bit more lucky last year in terms of both quantity and variety of the pets. If I continue to be active in the coming years, I think it would be interesting to continue tracking the statistics of banner pulls of pets/items vs. tokens to see if it would even out over time.

This has been the unluckiest Halloween I've had in a long while. Due to shift work, I only hit 85 banners and found no banner pets. Luckily, I was able to trade for the first two, but the banner dragon has eluded me. And the demand at this time is so wild I can't even trade for it.

I got 293 banners this event and pulled 4 of the rat banner pet. This year of events has been the worst luck for me when it comes to banner pets. I usually would get at least one of every variant or all but one and I could trade for the last one. It's crazy how high the demand is for that dragon and I really dont want to overpay as much as people are. It's the last pet I need to complete my collection and it's very frustrating tbh. I think a lot of people are having that problem tho
