Im comfortably at 200, Started slower Till they added The Second Banner Dog for more chances.
i think they'll raise The Banner Limit at Halloween to 300 If It isnt already, similar to past years

im only at 231 banners for now- leaves me at pretty good odds to hit the limit before i sleep tonight + ive probably exhausted my banner pet luck for the rest of the event haha (2 vamps, 2 snakes, 1 dragon!!) its the most ive ever gotten from an event ever, usually i get 1 banner pet per like 150 banners so im pleasantly shocked this time <33 good luck to everyone still hunting!!! :D

Since a lot of people are trying to get the banner pets and are even willing to over pay does anyone have any thoughts about what their rarities might be?

The banner pets from 2011 still aren’t very rare if that puts things into perspective for y’all. Worst case scenario the banner pets turn rare. Even if they turn rare they STILL won’t be worth what people are paying for them right now. People are simply overpaying because it’s shiny and new.

Take the vampire banner dog for instance, the demand for it when it first released was high as well. Now that we have two other banner pets it’s hard trading it off. I had a hard time even trading mine off for freebie Halloween pets (frogs and bunnies)

Anybody hit the new limit or reached 250 yet?

I'm at 241 banners now and I can't imagine I'm the one closest to 250.

Wait is there an actual banner cap for the whole event?

Yes, there is a banner cap in place for the event! It was originally 200 and has been raised, it is likely 250 now, but there has been no confirmation so far. As the event is going for a few more days, there is a possibility that the limit will be raised again in the future if enough people hit the current limit.
The cap is in place to keep individuals from getting too far ahead of others who are unable to find as many banners - it keeps the event more fair ^^

Last year there were 2 rare banner pets and 1 uncommon. In general I would assume the banner pets will not be common or lower, but definitely not very rare either.

I'm almost positive every year since I joined in 2014 the banner pets have all turned out uncommon initially except for the two from last year. The only one I'm unsure about is whether the rare eyeball head dog from 2018 started rare or became it because I honestly don't really remember that set lol. The raven/crow rats definitely were uncommon at first even though they're rare now.

So that's (likely) five years of uncommon banner pets, many of which are still uncommon. With how many people I've seen get the two dogs I think they will for sure be uncommon. I'm seeing way more posts and multiples about them than I saw for the skull and wispy ghost dog from last year. Dragon just got released but I feel like it will probably be uncommon as well. But even if it is rare it's just a 2021 rare. Yeah it'll suck to not get one by the end of the event but eventually people will stop going feral for them and you can trade for them properly, especially when they get their rarities.

don't forget there was a huge rarity system update at the end of 2018, so many pets either fell or rose in rarity. i remember clearly that the 2018 staff litter was uncommon at first and after the rarity update they all became very common. the eyeball dog was rare after the update i believe

as for current banner pets, i think the vamp will be uncommon. the dragon surely be rare because it's probably the last released pet so people won't have much time to get like 3 of these. the snake dog.. probably uncommon too? there's still 4 days left, so more people will get it eventually. but it still might turn out rare just like the wisp from 2020
