Are there actually pets in the crystal dig? I have gotten NOTHING but crystals and I'm honestly considering quitting at this point.

how do you find out how many banners you've clicked? i've seen people posting about it, so i'm confused. are they just keeping track in their heads, or is there some place you can go to find out?

In other banner events there is a token counter, but the summer event doesn't have that. You'd have to count it up manually with what you have, taking into account any token pets you bought and any tokens you may have traded.

I've actually gotten several from the dig site, they are there, there is just a lower chance of getting them than the crystals. Its all up to chance whether you get it. Personally I wouldn't be too worried about getting them right away, its available the whole event and usually by the end of the event the pets from little mini-games like this are of uncommon rarity at most, and aren't difficult to trade for.

oof, that would be awful, especially if even one of them were required for a trade-in with multiple outcomes. i think, judging by how at least the chat thread has become almost entirely people worried they won’t get even a single page, it will just be a one-time trade-in using the energized crystal to get one copy of whatever the reward is.

Try clicking on the cave above the village. That's where you can get the lions. There you can also trade the journal page for the apology letter, and the apology letter gets you an energized chrystal.

You have to trade in the journal page (gotten from the banner) for the apology letter.

You have to go to Imbrie at the portal. She's in the back of the cave. There you can get the lions and trade journal pages for apology letters.
