So just generally curious about this pets color



I see a light pinkish/purplish color with no white but I keep seeing other players referring to it as white. So I'm wondering if its one of those situations like the internets famous dress color debate.

What color do you see?

Feel like I should put in my 2 cents because I'm the type of person who memorizes hexadecimal values of colors I like and steals paint cards from Home Depot. To me it's light purple with a pink tinge. I would call it either pink-purple or lilac. Lavender to me is more purple and less pink, albeit equally light.

Agreed. But Im also realizing once I logged into my laptop, that the pet significantly looks more white. I use google chrome on both mobile and laptop so it must be the difference in the lighting. Its lilac on my mobile and more lavender white on my laptop.

Yes I agree and even though I can now see it more whiteish on my laptop, the palette still shows the colors better than the dog but they are a tad bit darker still on my mobile.

I also attempted to screenshot and add my mobile side by side with what I see on my laptop but there was no difference lol
Im going to attempt to color match them next.

Okay, so these are NOT the exact hex codes used. I just kinda eyeballed the way it looked on my mobile and the way it looked on my laptop so people could see



For those who see the left: When the dog shows up more of the color scheme on the right, it is mostly the lower colors on the scale. It's like a soft lavender and almost white.

For those of you who see the color schemes like the right: The dog looks more vibrant on the left and darker in tone.

Interesting I guess the site I used to find the colors didn't get it right, it happens. most times I use a hex color finding site when it comes to having a hard time seeing a color.

Tess dragons have that shape and can be any colour. These are Tess dragons.

They're different though. Event egg is smaller and more compact looking. Tess egg is a little more tapered looking at the top and has a shadow. Unless they redrew the egg for tess dragons which is entirely possible.

I'm really hoping that we end up getting more event tokens soon! In previous recent years we've had a heck of a lot of different tokens you were able to acquire, but so far the only tokens we have are the four samples from the banner and the crystals from the pit. I'd really like this event to be like the Jungle event where we had 15+ tokens but alas that's probably just wishful thinking at this point. c':
(Note: I do not include the journal page, apology note, nor the energized crystal as tokens yet because they do not appear under the event tokens tab in items. It might just be a glitch, but I personally believe it's purposeful because technically you don't redeem them for anything - at least for now, that could change in the future.)

I've noticed that the lake area in the portal doesn't have anything yet... I'm hoping maybe we'll be able to go diving/foraging for some aquatic/semi-aquatic plant tokens. :3 I'm such a sucker for plant tokens. I'm also hoping we get some other neat trade-in tokens too, acquired similarly to the cream and woodwork animals from the 2019 Fae event!

does anybody know where the crystal fennec is dropping? i want to find it but need to know where to dump my tokens! i'm only missing a few pets and i am so excited to get caught up so that i can focus 100% on the new prehistoric theme.

i'm excited to see all the unique lineart and new pets that come out! hoping for some new dinos, maybe? : o i need some t-rexes!

The crystal fennecs (grown blue, and pps purple and green) can only be found at the crystal dig site. Instead of digging up a crystal, you can end up digging one of 5 crystal dig pets. Although the pet drops are definitely much more uncommon than getting a crystal from the dig site. I've personally found the blue crystal fennec fox more difficult to obtain.

gotcha!! i've gotten a few of the pet drops from the dig site, guess i'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for the fennec.
it must be more difficult, i've got some dupes of the dig site pets but haven't seen the crystal fennec or the white/pink crystal dog yet.
