2021 Summer Event: Pet, Item & Event Discussion

i was wondering about that myself, like if it were perhaps a coding bug or something because if im recalling correctly those things usually stayed there for the duration of the event? Could be wrong tho as i so often am x)

For the summer event it's normal for free items to be only available for one day. Token trade ins never disappear but some free items sets will cycle through different versions and then on the last few days of the event they typically are given out again as a random grab-bag type thing.

I'm so sad, I was sooo excited for this event, but now I'm just too busy to do it :( I ended up missing even FREE ITEMS!!
Dunno, I don't even have time to take tokens, I think I will just skip this event...

Yeah, kinda wish the free items didn't disappear since some people are pretty dang busy. :C

You can always try to set an alarm/reminder on your phone to check at a specific time each day and grab the free stuff even if you're too busy to hunt for tokens. Even if you've got slow internet, it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes at most to go through the locations for the freebies! If rollover isn't super late or super early in your timezone you can try to time it around then or check right before to make sure you've got everything before the new stuff gets added.

Rollover is 7pm my time so I'll usually try to remember to hop on between 7 and 8pm to grab my freebies and then any time I've got a few hours of free time I hunt for banners with a twenty minute timer while I'm watching tv/youtube or reading - either using my phone or I just search 'timer' on google and use the built in one there on my computer.

same!! this is by far my favorite event out of all the past summer
events, but i'm just so busy, i'm already missing so much 😭💔

so far ive got 7 visits,
which yielded 6 crystals and only 1 pet

4 visits and only crystals. I'm one of those people that is all about instant gratification, realistically I'll probably get all of the crystal dig pets but I want them now.
