2019 Halloween Event - Pet, Item & Event Discussion

I've really love the pets that we've gotten, but, I feel like this is kind of a lackluster year in terms of halloween. Nothing feels very halloween ish. Nothing really spooky or halloween costumes or werewolf/vampire like, or anything like that. It feels just like...a normal month of pets.

This is by no means a jab at the artist, cause I do really love some of these pets. Like the deer are beautiful! and some of the other pets are really lovely! But I don't feel.... halloween on it.

i agree, theres been some more halloween events that feel spookier and more themed than others, but i don't mind. the artists don't need to do something extravegant every year for each big event. i think this year has been pretty nice

The computer ones align with today's world of technology and urban legends of haunted/cursed videos or websites

I wonder how horrorfying/unsettling or gross the artists are allowed to make them.

Personally, I've enjoyed the pets from this year much more than the previous. They used to be too spooky/scary for me, so I like that this year is toned down a bit. Plus, another thing to keep in mind is that a lot of the spookier things have been released in the past and the artists must come up with new, fresh ideas. I think they did a great job! But of course, I understand that many people enjoy spooky season way more than I do!

Is it just me or do banner pets get released more during the end of the event? I cant stop getting them. Ive gotten 5 in the past two days. I just want tokens dangit.

I've found this to be true too. I hit the limit a couple days ago, and then hit the limit again when it was raised to 300. I got two of the banner foxes in a row in the last 50 banners, whereas I got my first banner pet at 150+ banners!

You also need to keep in mind that the banner fox was only released during the 21st, but the event started on the 19th :3

That's a good point! But I still feel like this is true for my experience of Halloween on CS for the last 8-9 years.

After 300 banners, I got plenty of the candy corn creatures to complete a set and 4 butterfly wolves.
