Ok, I had something weird happen... I had bought 10 eggs near reset (reset is 7PM my time), I had a bunch become the blue dragon within the last hour even though the time stamp says "Levke NPC sent this trade to you at 2019-08-01, 07:24 pm" and the other "Levke NPC sent this trade to you at 2019-08-01, 07:25 pm." and I have been trading event doubles this last nearly 5 hours and would have noticed them changed by now. Wth? Now I only have 2 ungrown

I have no idea what could be happening with your eggs, but that deer is actually a part of the regular monthly pets. ^^

lol the quote confused me cause I decided to just buy more eggs and watch the time stamp over the next few days and see what they do xD The odd part for me is that 2 of the 8 (both black, so I traded 1 for a blue) I had grew earlier so I still had 6 left and they were all adopted within minutes of each other.
