anyone know what this ritual is gonna lead to? is it just a fun thing, or will continuing to try the ritual get you somewhere?

I was literally about to ask the same question. I would like to know! Is there some sort of prize? A secret pet or bunch of tokens?

Typically, after a few days they will unlock another area for us to explor. From what I've seen in the past, there is a place you can get a single token/pet ever 60 minutes or one hour. Then there are other characters that need assistance/ token trade ins. There are usually three places that either need an herb token or another token trade in from a different character, lets say they need milk or cream. Then there is a place you can get free items daily.

This is just what I've seen throughout the year's here on CS. There is no guarantee though.
