people are out here trading vrs for that thing when it'll probably just be a common.

i'm actually so hysterical about this honestly. i mean, they are cute..
but there are people out here hosting auctions for these guys like they are genuinely hard to find/obtain when they aren't.

People aren't hosting auctions because they think the PPS is genuinely hard to find, they're hosting auctions because they know it's popular and they can get a lot for it. I'm sure they all know the PPS will probably be uncommon

It's genuinely hard to find, it's not just people overhyping it. One look at the trade post will tell you that. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a rare or even a very rare, to be honest.

I don't really care what this guy ends out being, I absolutely love all the PPS Lions, mainly those with edited linearts, and I always try to get every single pet in events lately. Someone just straight up gave me him when I was offering to buy it <3

It's genuinely hard to find, it's not just people overhyping it. One look at the trade post will tell you that. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a rare or even a very rare, to be honest.

it really is just hype. i've been looking around in people's inventory and literally 7/10 people usually have the pet; it's just they want an arm and a leg for it. looking at how many people do own it, it'll probably become an uncommon.

the trade post is filled with people who either want multiples of it, or simply just happened to be some of the unlucky people who didn't receive it.

Alright, I've looked through all of my dogs and the archive and I cannot for the life of me figure out what dog this plush is from- the 2009 wolf looked CLOSE, but the color was wrong.

The colours are a bit more saturated, that is why they look different, but that's also the case with the other plushie dog. It's only more noticable on this one here.

The same thing happens every year with Rudolph, just even moreso this year because it's a PPS lion. It definitely won't be rare (obligatory "imo"), my sister and I both got two of them.
In fact, my second was in my trade group for 24 hours and I got all of one trade for it until I posted I had it x'D There are plenty to go around, I just think people aren't looking much farther than the swap thread.
Also before anyone says it, no, it's not hoarders' fault.
