Finally got a banner pet

I got two light bulb dogs from the banner and traded one for the green dice dog. I don't know if I want to keep the dice dog or trade it for a few wishlist pets. My current dreamies are the white and black horses from the Christmas 2010 promo. I don't really like the dog design, o r the lightbulb one for that matter.

I don't understand the demand for the banner dogs. I find it really funny that people want '09 rares for 'em when they're really not worth it. I only joined this year so I've only participated in a few events and was wondering if this a normal occurrence?
