on another note, I just got my 5th nat20 dog, 281 banners in. This year I learned to not trade for banner dogs until the event is over.

I'll still trade for them, mostly because I don't always get them... for example, I got only one lightbulb dog and no eyeball dogs at all! So I'm glad I traded for those two. I'm just not willing to overpay, since it's usually easy to find someone who is willing to do a reasonable trade.

On the other hand, I got half a dozen each of the green and red dice dogs. I'm more amazed than I am upset, since I had plenty of tokens for all the pets offered up this year.

This guy is so beautiful but I don't like his goatee so I hide it with a matching scarf! <3
Also he reminds me of the halloween circus event in Food Fantasy that's currently going on which makes me even sadder when seeing him (the story about pizza, cheese, casatta, the magician, and the ringmaster is just sad * sobs *)

I believe it was a mix where the background items were random but the others were not

The theme was different object heads for a collab litter.

D&D was the inspiration for the dice dogs, but other than that the iDeer dog seemed fitting and the eyeball was added for the creepiness factor. In the beginning there was just one dice dog, but then it was decided to make a "good" (nat 20) and an "evil" (crit 1) version of it.
So no, not Stranger Things inspired.

(And before you ask... I asked both artists for permission to post this P:)
