2018 Summer Event: Casual Chat v2

Great just what i wanted yet ANOTHER TRADE FOR the crappy resort chip tokens that barely show up at hecking all! I may as well kiss these stupid parrotflywolfs good bye as I won't be able to afford them. Not when everyone only want LITTER SWAPS. I have PLENTY of token trade in duplicates but of course I won't be lucky enough to have them be swapped for the new resort chip trade ins.

I'm legit freaking DONE.

I really feel this. I’m ready to just stop at this point and enjoy my real life vacation.
I have two tokens and no bw parrots yet. Nobody is even seeing my trade posts and it’s futile. I can only be hopeful I do get tokens but then what?
Honestly I LOVE the pets and theme, really! But what do I do with all these seeds? Can’t use them for those parrots.

I agree with the both of you, I'm going on vacation tomorrow as well and I can't be worrying about this event. The stress for this event and the resort chips honestly is crazy. I love the theme of the event, but I never had so many worries with an event from this site before. I truly makes me sad that I possibly might not be getting all the pets in this event.
And if I do, that would be a miracle. Yes I know saving tokens to the end is easier, but at the same time I don't like to wait till the end because by then not many people are honestly swapping for pets that you might need later. Dx

I just found out about the event today, how long is it going on for? It looks like getting all the items will be lot of work, I've got a lot to catch up to I suppose. Time to pull an all nighter lmao

I don't even really bother trying to get all the outcomes in summer events. It's just far too much work and stress (for me) to spend on a little event. I mostly just pay attention to the story, and this time it's been pretty lacking in that aspect. I understand that this is a lot of work to pull off and that we get this stuff for free, but this was definitely not my favorite event. Not that I didn't enjoy it, I just haven't been enjoying it as much as the other summer events I've been around for.

It really is a lot of work. The last summer event I participated in was the Egyptian one, and I absolutely loved it. The story was great and fun and pets weren't a hassle to get as much as this one. This years event is bland in comparison to the last few, even though I was on break during them. Pets just aren't that interesting tbh, and I love luck-based things and the thrill but not when the token you have to use is difficult to get in the first place.

I fully agree with everyone talking about the resort chips. The struggle this year is absolutely unreal. I don't have anything else to really do, that's basically the only reason I've put up with this so far. I still appreciate everything the CS team does, and I'm sure it's just the lot of us getting really unlucky, but I really wish this event was easier on casual players.

I like a good challenge, but not when it causes me to have to stay up all night grinding for some token you don't even end up getting.

I know right, i wish there was a banner counter
I just counted how much tokens i had that i didnt use and then counted the tokens i traded away for the pets and added it together
