2018 CS Birthday: Pet, Item, & Event Discussion

It is kinda sad.. 10th Anniversary and there are so many "fights" over some - sorry - pixels... :I
I mean I like my Pets, too.. But when people get attacked or other being just greedy.. I dunno...

I miss the old community of 2009 where everything seemed to be pretty well and friendly and fair to everyone

It's like it's Chickensmoothie law that rats, ponies, horses, bats and now even nicks are 'bad pets' because they don't 'look good'.
Even cats are starting to become 'eh', from my trading experience. (( how many people do you see hoarding this events rats / bunnies, horses, draft horses, and even unicorns?? )) I'm not targeting anyone who does think like this, due to those pets bad demand. (( I collect horses and ponies, and I wouldn't swap a dog for a rat because of how blumming hard it is to trade off, but I like rats.. ))
(( due to this event i'll even keep one or two, blue is my favourite colour ))

also.. is it just me, or is there a little bump on it's back??..Do all rats have that in the growing stage??

Yea right? I mean.. I am not in the rats and spiders for example too.. i like rats but the lineart is just.. meh.. and spiders.. i am scared of xDDD
And i rly miss 2009.. That time it was so exciting to get back here, jump into the forums, talk about everything and it was rly hard to leave bcs of the fun.. Today it's just "yea a few hours and only sometimes reload is enough" for me.. even if i don't know what to do after that.. it makes me rly kind of sad..

Eh. Nostalgia goggles. 2009 had its fair share of ninja traders and people taking advantage of others. (Guess who got ninja'd :'D) The community was just smaller and made it feel less extreme.
There are plenty of incredibly generous and friendly people on here. Enough so to have given me a reason to stick around for so many years and love this site ♥

I'm incredibly glad I didn't quit after 2009 and kept coming back. Makes me feel sentimental to look back on ten years of watching pets grow and anticipating new releases, and how much the site has evolved since little me stumbled upon someone's fuzzy green caterpillar pet and decided to get my own.

Just thinking about how, back when CS celebrated its first birthday, we couldn't even have gotten a "rarity bar" litter, because we had neither rarity bars, nor visible rarities at all :'D

The big blue litter with all its different linearts is so heartwarming. Look how many types of pets exist now! To think it all started with a bunch of dogs and rats~

Why are people demanding VR pets for the Malk Dragon egg? I'd like, for once to trade with honest people. Also... how many chicken outcome will we have for the birthday event?

You know... malk dragon was not released over 8 years + most of them are on the list. Members have finally chance to get and hoard common/uncommon malk dragon and they want it so much, that give overpays. Of course other members which have doubles (or not like that dragon, or just want trade them) and see that members are willing to pay a lot for just single one, are usually greedy and ask for a lot (like 09 vrs) until they can (demand usually die when is released rarity).

Eh, I've seen this plenty of times. People get really excited for a particular outcome and then demand skyrockets, even if the outcome isn't particularly uncommon. If you just wait a while the hype will die down and you could probably trade for it easily.

But for example the german thread.. at "my time" (sounds like i am old as a dragon xD) it was so active you couldn't post directly bcs tghere were 3 new posts when you wanted to comment xD It was rly going on my nerves sometimes, but it was fun too.. So lively.. Today it is like a ghost town..

Oh gosh yes xD we didn't even had rarity bars.. xD I rly forgot that xD

I agree... I collect rats though so I’m usually cool with doing 3-month swaps (their rat for my dog)

It’s kind of sad that some pets are just disliked and treated as lesser. I mean, most horse patterens don’t appeal to me but I’d still value them pretty similar to other "better" pets

I agree with YuniWolf about some people being greedy. I had recently just traded with some people for their extra malk dragons/eggs to give away to others who don’t have it. But now I’m too scared to actually give them to the people who are missing them. I’ve already seen a few people who auction it off right after I give it to them for old 09 rares or List pets. I even found someone who had a horde of over 50 malk dragon eggs from trade people the extra 09 rares they had (which was a lot). and I understand that not all people are the same, I just don’t feel like I can trust anyone rn ;-;

oh yes... i just put my third malk dragon egg into my locked birthday folder too.
A hoarder asked for it an offered a common 2011.. It's not agbout being greedy.. But pls.. I wanted to keep it for ppl that doesn't have it. Well... Yea. I am scared of your point too.. And in that case I just prefer being "greedy" and keep them.
I understand that people have their dreamies and maybe they get them with the dragon.. But I have my dreamies, too and doesn't or really rarely (like a gifted pet i have already 3 off) use my gifts for them. -_-

Yeap, I have 50 these malk dragons ^^
but as I told, it was my own choose to offer overpay. I do it usually for most of hoards, not just for this dragons. It's just more comfortable to me, because trade have bigger chance that get accept (+ overpay can make other happy too) so my hoards can grow faster and with amout of the hoards which I have that's more convenient for me. But it's my own choose to give overpay and offer older pets (even uncommon or list for bigger number of that dragons/or another pets) I not trade that eggs away and not ask for overpays.
This is what i can't understand... how can members trade or even auction it away and ask minimal for 2009 rares (if members offer overpay they alone, it's okay, it's their choice, but when traders ask for it, it's bad then).
