Sweet, my luck is turning a bit! I got all the rats after just three trades. I'm so glad, haha... now I just need to try and gather up enough tokens for whatever drops tomorrow.

...of course since I adopted everything late I won't know if I have that stuff for a while, sob. But hopefully it'll be fine lol.

Anyway, I found my true love, which is the rats.... I thought it was the spiders at first, then I saw her face, now I'm a believer! I mean... yeah, I love the potion rats xD

I don't think anyone was more thrilled than I that we got some real tarantulas for Halloween this year!

When I saw people pointing out the Cobalt Blue, I nosed around the thread and didn't see anyone else mentioning this guy, so I figured I'd share what I know about him!



He looks like a spot on Orange Baboon Tarantula! They are notorious for being extremely badly tempered! They are not a species that is recommended to be handled at all and have a very painful bite! People often truncate their name from Orange Baboon Tarantula to OBT instead, and due to their nature they are also called "Orange Bitey Things"!

Cobalt Blue tarantulas are also very badly tempered, so maybe we actually got "angry tarantulas" for Halloween, instead of just tarantulas in general... They may be angry but I love them! <3

Psst,

the blue one is actually an M balfouri, Not a cobalt blue- cobalts do not have gold on their tibias and there are other colors as well. It is SPOT ON for a Balfouri however.


I'm digging the spiders but I wanna skreech at everyone who's calling that a cobalt lmao. I am a super serious T hobbyist and it's making me bananas

I've tried to get the horses from the box and all 3 times I've tried I only got the zombie horse, my leastime favorite the black one with wings is gorgeous!

I hope this isn't a fluke and we see the blessed return of the spider lineart. That would be the best treat this whole Halloween Well, unless we also see some wonderful chicken outcomes...

Unfortunately, and probably because I'm not afraid of clowns, but today's chameleons aren't striking me as very spooky. They're just too happy and innocent-looking to be scary, psh. I think the mime and jester are my favorites of the bunch. The rats are interesting and remind me a lot of those horses we got a few months back.
