I've been wondering about that too, to be honest! But we don't have any evidence apart from the fact that he wasn't invited, which doesn't make for a very strong argument... I also wonder if it was that princess (what's her name? XD). She strikes me as having quite a sinister character... I can see her smashing instruments out of spite for something XD

When I saw the second update I thought of Wade (The beautiful gal at the race track) but I also thought of the pink squid (Forgot her name) and for motives for anybody, just to stop the Jamboree or they were looking for something and they thought it was in the instruments. But also both things point to Steve and his squid (Say it ain't so!) who was also accused of rigging the races.

Musicians would take away her business if they were both in the courtyard together. She seems fascinated by the pearls, so perhaps she would stop at nothing to get them... Even if that means sabotaging the jamboree musicians so she's the center of attention, and therefore getting more of her precious pearls.

Also, pearls do keep popping up in the breaking news.

I have a theory again:
Remember when the dragon was angry when we first came in and he first mistook us as the person who was bothering him? Maybe that person was Shelly, who kept on pestering him for wood.

I don't think it's cuttler, but it is suspicious that he cleared himself first (on his own investigation...)

I think the anonymous tipper is taffy_cakes. Here's why:
First: It's a new person in the map.
Second: The picture he/she drew looks as though Cuttler has a red face and tentacles(to me I suppose).
Third: Cuttler didn't show his response to the picture, what ever drawings have been shown to him he usually says a compliment to use.

I know this is a wild theory, but it could be possible.

that's true! it doesn't necessarily make him out.
he could have sent that text at anytime. we need to know the time that the crime was committed to make sure that he is completely innocent. and your right he was ready with an alibi just to get us off his radar.

I think im sticking with just cuttler or

panopea, shelly and the dragon.
here's why, they are the only ones yet to be mentioned on the board besides the mer-cub but I think I can count her out. and they could all get in from panopea who has a key. she left her tentacle marks behind
the dragon provided wood and he was the flash of red.
and shelly did the vandalizing with the seaweed and the clam shells (panopea could also provide clam shells)

I disagree with you because it did confirm that he was chatting with his fans.So cutter isn t one of the suspects.I would say the chief.He was the only one who was left at the court yard.Plus he has a red mane.Now about the Dragon.It couldn't be him because he wouldn't have a key.plus he is really never invited anyway.Unless someone let him in and the suspect could be blaming it on him if it's true.The suspect could have used the Dragon.

his mane is more maroon and it could be seen as more purple in the dark. Finnegan said that he left around two and the only one around was the chef so that could make sense!
but that leaves around two hours for someone to break in and wreck things, because the time stamp for cuttlers "message" is 4:11, we would need more text logs to be absolutely sure. and we would need the time of the crime. but it is easy to text someone while doing the crime. he could've also been wearing the red freshly cleaned armor that he provided us with right after the crime.

now for the three:
also, I stated that panopea, shelly and the dragon are working together, not just the dragon.
panopea could have let them in with the key. and the dragons motive would be that he wasn't invited. I forgot to add it.
everyone is entitled to there own opinions and its okay to disagree. I like your idea!

I think by this point we've all concluded Cuttler's alibi to be very weak. I hear many bring up about the time on his phone being far apart from the guessed time the crime was committed (although, how did you come up with that?)

Even if we were to assume that it's a legit text (since people can make fake texts nowadays) and he is chatting with a fan, we still don't know if he sent it that night. Heck, Cuttler's been getting fanart since the day the event started. We don't know if that text was sent earlier.
