Ah, no worries!^^ While new things will be released every day, the old trade-ins will still be available, so you can get today's pets tomorrow still, etc^^
The only things you'll want to make sure to get the day they come out are the free items, those tend to change each day (though they are usually released again near the end).

How come all these people have the Purple Coral Buck? (Name credit to Brenton) I've gone to the kelp fields like what, 7+ times? I keep getting items for the boutique but I've already gotten all 4 Merwolves :<

Hey, everyone! So this might not be the best place to ask this, but what with all the fish and underwater items being released, is there an underwater background in existence (in the event or not)? I was kinda wanting to make an aquarium ^_^

Keep an eye out during the event, we usually get some sort of event-themed background item. Especially with all the fish items, I'd be surprised if we didn't get one this year ^^

The deer are more uncommon than the kelp and rope^^
Some people just get lucky. I've gone to the kelp forest 19 times? 20 times so far, and got 2 deer in total.
And no worries - the same items you have so many of now will very likely be used for different trade-ins later on, too c:

How does one get into the castle?
I tried putting on both of the items that the girl at the shop gave me (on a random wolf pet) but still nothing???

There's no way into the castle yet, it will be unlocked later in the event.

Thank you for your previous help. Being new and very confused when I was given the option of how many pets I wanted at the Free Pets above the racing course? I chose 5 which I thought was a bit strange to have the choice of so many. Well I did get 2 new ones but I also maxed out the number of pets received there. I don't know how to trade pets (I mean I don't know how to copy images or code and place on a posting). So I have three extra of the blue finned horses. I am trying to donate them to the pound so I can get more pretty finned horses.

Will the Pound take the three I am trying to give to it? Or am I going to be prevented from Free Pets there. I was able to trade pearls for the Unicorn so I'm not too unhappy. Older more experienced Smoothie are initiating trades with me for the pearls I am finding which is great as I seem not to be doing too well on my own. It is great fun however if one knows what they are doing

How do you get the creatures/plushies?

They're given out as second/third place prices from the hamster race.
