I think this was one of the most mild summer event (The other's being 2012 one I barely remember) I ever had experienced.
There was none of pet pulls contains more than 4 outcomes and has not any of growing ones from free adoption or trade-in unlike previous summer events I had. While, all item pulls does not except Ship Wreck one but most of outcome of item pulls were tradable for another pulls so there was no worries to pull doubles of already owned ones.
However, I see that there still is toughest pulls around this event, which I chose two remarkable pulls among them are: the dolphin/whale fox pull (Especially the orca fox being most elusive one among all pets of this event to be found) and a whole fish item collection.
The former is because how elusive the orca fox itself is, along with another elusive point that you specifically needs two certain type of tokens (the Rope, and Driftwoods) to trades in, which makes it hard to taking attempts to pull it. Even worse, there was no trade-in for trade another banner tokens/kelps into either rope or driftwoods unlike Space Event that at least offered you a trade-in for trade a food item into a dirt, which allowed you to take another attempts to get flower items in order to get machine part items. Thanks for other trades-in that just not only looking for those but along with other types of tokens.
The latter is still milder than the former in my opinion (if you're not afraid to swap for other fish items) due to it consumes less amount of pearls, but it's still tough to collect them all seeing how frequent gettig 1st places are. -_- In my case I just managed to win 13 bronzes, 12 silvers and 27 golds so it'd probably calculated into 1(bronze+silver):1(gold), if it's real then I'd surprised since I thought it could made sense if the ratio was being 2:1.
I'm not sure about the pearl hamster from Pearl Game, but it could be in similar wise of Fast Fins Racetrack. Although I never fully experienced how frequent winning the pearl hamsters are.
The only same point this event have, compared to previous ones is the kelp pets or its equivalents obtained from 1-hour-banner thingy. They still are frequent to obtain just like Candy event one, even including two-headed deers(banner pets) from recent Halloween event.
Well finally, I personally expected that the fish items won from Fast Fins Racetrack could've used as another token items for somewhere else, just like in space event wise. Although they originally were not categorized to Event Tokens and this gimmick was already taken by food items traded from Banquet Table and items traded from Jamboree Organizer by the way.
