- Every account can only collect a certain amount of banners before hitting a limit at which you can no longer find any. Once you hit the limit you can still trade for tokens from other users, and any tokens you traded away will not affect your count either - it just counts the banners you've clicked.
The banner limit is reasonably high to make sure that people who spend a lot of time gathering tokens do get the reward for their efforts, but it also helps to make sure that those who have a lot of free time on their hands don't get too much of an advantage compared to everyone else.
The limit is not easy to reach, so it does require some dedication to get there, but without it, some people could probably get twice as many banners. That's a lot of tokens.
It's worth noting that hitting it as fast as possible isn't necessarily beneficial, though ^^ Banner prizes other than tokens may be added throughout the event, and it's not unusual for some people to miss out on the chance to get the ones that are added late, because by the time they get released, the person already hit their limit.
