This was my first chance to get rares too.

Depends on which UR Pet. The new one URs usually have a high demand that can range to a Non or higher once it's first released but soon dies down later in the months

if you're looking list-wise only the UR tiger dog and UR butterfly wolf are higher up than the zebras

How do people get to see their pets grow up off-account? I've never really gotten a hold on how to do it.

I think a Zebra. But some URs are higher on the list because they have more demand.
