I have yet to even see a banner

I would suggest going to a page that loads fast, like your bookmarks, and just refreshing it until a banner appears.

That's what I do.

The mods are requesting that we don't just refresh one page - I personally swap between 'Home', Adopt, Pound, and the Halloween page, until something shows up.

i just click archives over and over, since on my computer i can see the banner on the archives page without having to scroll, and mods have said clicking the link repeatedly is better than refreshing i believe.
