xxxxxP.S.A., the updated (XD) correct way to calculate your banner (not token, banner) count:

Your banner count = number of banner tokens (dirt, ice, water) in your inventory + number of banner tokens you traded to NPCs + number of banner tokens you gave to other players + number of banner pets you yourself received from banners (including ones that you have traded away to other players) - the number of banner tokens you received from other players.

xxxxxThe banner limit was previously at 240, but has since then been raised. I'm guessing to 280

Oh dang... I just traded a Banner pet for a Squid, and then the wonderful little fuzzies decide to bless me with this beautiful boy

Omg I thought I had so many different space pets but literally an exact half of them were robo cats XD 18 were others and 18 were robo cats cuz I moved the cats to their own folder XD

This is the first event that I know of that has banner pets (With the exception of the last few Halloweens). If anyone who has an older account would like to correct me, then please do!

I believe Halloween has always had banner pets (aside from the very first one since it appears there was just a gift instead of an event). 2012 and onward definitely did, looking back on the threads. I'm unsure about '11 and '10 though as I can't seem to find any thread for those.

Easter's thing is the animal easter egg items rather than pets I believe. As for past summer events..... It looks like there were banner pets for the first summer event (Medieval Faire 2011). The thread I found for the Beach Event (2012) didn't mention anything about a banner pet and there were none for '13, '14, and '15 for sure.
