Halloween Event Discussion Thread 2015

I did spend way too many tokens on contacts this year. Well over fifty trying to get duplicates of the aqua demon ones. I managed to get over twelve yellow demon, some of which I was able to swap, but man did I go overboard.

Got a good amount of spare backgrounds and I've started mini-collections of the stone wall and the aviator set (mostly because it fits lion cubs and my obsession kicks in).

Overall I'm okay with the fact we got relatively few items this year. There's always next year after all and Christmas is coming. Plus the random surprises that sometimes happen (who else remembers moving day!)

I only need this one pesky little bat until I have gotten all of the halloween event pets! I hope I can get it soon! It seems like I've been behind for a while this year cx I hope everyone liked the event cause I enjoyed it!

Because I'm having no luck in the swap thread and neither is anyone else, should I spend the rest of my tokens on those green eggs? He's the only pet I don't have yet.

Halloween pets never turn VR, I'm pretty sure the highest they go is rare. But it might, since I haven't seen much of them at all.

Wait, the rarity of the pets are determined by the staff before the pets are released? I thought every outcome had an equal chance of occurring upon adoption, and once the month/event was over the uncommon pets were the pets that everyone happened to get less of by chance, like how you have a 50% chance of flipping a coin and getting heads but you can flip a coin 10 times and only get heads twice. Can someone clarify how the rarity system works exactly? Preferably a staff member. Any staff reading this thread?

I doubt it, he will be rare at the most...no way is he going to be very rare but who knows...
