Halloween Event Discussion Thread 2015

Hmm, for a complete collection I should have enough eggs/bat cages to at least be able to trade for any outcomes I need once they hatch. That will be nice, because I'm currently missing a couple of the bat outcomes, more than a couple of the chicken & dragon outcomes and then a few randoms here and there. Still grrring over the black banner pet. He's being especially tricky to get through banners, so I hope I get some extras of the dragons. They'll probably be an OK trade for one.

I kinda like only having a bunch of PPS versions of the dragons, but that might be because we got all those adult split stages in September and none of the lower stages that were just too cute.

Currently, my favorites have been mostly the horses. I really loved the PPS 2ndGen horse & all of the last horses released. So very pretty! I'm very glad I managed to snag them all nearly right after their releases.

Also, I really liked this event. It felt like a lot of pets, a good amount of outcomes, and some different levels of Halloween type critters to keep me happy. I didn't get nearly the same crazy offers on tokens like on the Summer Candy Event though.

I am wondering if these pps dragons are going to be common and uncommon. I for one have been spending all my tokens on eggs, and will be doing so until I hit the token limit or the hunt is over.

Token pets end up to be AT LEAST uncommon from my experience, and a large amount actually do turn out rare.

I've been here through the whole event, and for at least two days, people went nuts over the banner pets.
I'm up to around 240 banners, and I only have two banner pets. Both are the Black raven.

Hmm, I see. Well, usually the demand keeps up longer than that. Last year (idk if you were present, but) tons and I mean TONS of people were complaining about not having the banner pets. It kept up right until the very end of the event, or at least that's how it seemed to me.

Oh I know.
NOBODY would let go of those poor pups, even when you offered an arm and a leg.
I just just laugh, now, though, because I have at LEAST 20 of the little buggers in my All-PPS-pup hoard. XD
(Note: I'm counting the German Shepherd color-in as well, because their demand was just as crazy)

Hohoho, look at you. Yep, I remember that. I eventually ended up getting mine from the banner at like the very very very end. (One of em I remember was the 224th banner because I went screaming to the thread, pff)

Hm. Maybe it's because this year it's rats. idk, people just don't like rats.

I've got three banner pets, two of the black one, and I don't click the banners all that often (I have less than 30 tokens right now).

Or maybe.... the CS people just made them more common?

Well, This is the first event I reached the banner limit. I feel so complete.

Probably going to spend all my tokens on eyes just to make sure I get enough to go around. Ive actually gotten too many red skeleton and yellow demon and I need more pairs of aqua demon and rainbow skeleton.

Although...the horses are tempting. I'd love a few fluffy spares to just hang around. I don't want to waste them all on dragon/chicken eggs or chameleons.

Wish we had gotten stand alone wigs though. I don't need all the extra suits but I need the short wigs...

Well... er... good luck with getting all the pets you want...

Actually the fact that you'd be missing so much might work in your favor to start out. At least in my experience, people are generally pretty generous if you've obviously missed most of the event. For the Candy event, for instance, I was on vacation the whole event and didn't get back until the very last day of banners. Posted a swap thread, offered what I could, and still ended up completing the event before trade-in was over. You'll be able to get what you want, don't worry.
