For some reason I'm not really digging the banner pets this halloween. I dunno. Maybe the summer dream event kinda set my expectations too high. That and I'm still impressed with the Moontree Dog and Vampire Dogs from past halloween banners.
Maybe its the simplicity. Thats not exactly a bad thing. I just tend to look forward to seeing pets with special edits. The Purple Lantern Butterfly Wolf looks more of a token brought pet. Same with the Skelly Tailed PPS and the (while funny) Banner Mocking Dog. I want to like them more. I really do. But they haven't grown on me yet.
Now the cats on the other hand... WOW!!! Nothing short of amazing!! Can you imagine the crazy demand spikes for them if they were banner pets? I'd probably mortgage my dog's house to get one! Whoever did those felines just raised the bar on all future cats! There is something about the face that just makes them sooo much cooler than the lines they came from! I almost wish all future cats could have those looks!
