Finally Got the Horse.

Could I just ask, which of the pets released today (apart from the Sand Pile horse) have the most demand, or are rarer? I've only been online for ten minutes XD thanks!

This is the first time I got the sand dog out of the sand pile XD Good thing the one I traded for I traded for fairly Now I have an extra.

I only need four more nightmare cats and then I can be done with them ^^, but they seem to be hiding now...

I get that they are all designed by a different staff but, aren't all CS pets layered the same? I would think especially with how items have to be overlaid. I guess I don't view it as a privilege more so which pets they'd rather tackle to pick to breed. Which is why with these newest slumber pets I would think that they would view them the same as staff litters, a royal pain to breed together >.>.

Event pets can be bred together without being a problem in itself, but ones with massive line edits are almost certainly not going to be bred from for multiple reasons. For one, only the original artist for the parent dog has those specific line edits, which makes creating a litter quite difficult if the parents are by different people. For another, Tess doesn't want a lot of crazy line edits in regular pets, so the 2nd gens would probably only come out as event pets themselves if they were made. And, of course, juggling a whole bunch of crazy edits is a massive pain to deal with. X3 There are also tons of non-edited pets with lovely designs that could make great 2nd gens, and it doesn't seem fair to pass over them just because some other pet had a flashy line edit.

The staff dogs can't be bred just because that's the staff dog rule - almost anything goes in line edits or design, but the trade-off is they can't be used for 2nd gens. They're basically customs in concept, except everyone can adopt them. However, that doesn't mean their lines can't be repurposed into event or monthly pets, like Tyr's gryphon lines were in this event, so it's still possible to get 2nd gens from a parent with similar lines to a staff pet if the artist chooses to bring those lines back in a regular/event pet. :3

Hrm, I think the rulers of the dream and nightmare castles? The two you see on the front page. But, mostly I know the horse is the one taunting us all xD.
