i've been roleplaying for about six years now, soon turning into seven. about five
of those years have been mostly 1x1 roleplays, so since i have a lot of experience i thought
i'd give some tips/tricks/insight on 1x1 roleplays. hope you guys get a lot of help from this
thread!

what is a 1x1 roleplay?

a 1x1, to put it simply, is a one on one roleplay where one person roleplays with another person. it's a private rp where rather than making a large roleplay thread with multiple people are roleplaying together, two people are roleplaying on one thread.

what is invite-only roleplaying?

an invite-only roleplay is a private roleplay very similar to a regular one. multiple people are roleplaying together, however these people are invited by the main creator of the thread. rather than stumbling upon a roleplaying thread and joining it, the original poster of the thread will invite you through either pm or you will pm the original poster about whether or not you can join the thread.

what is a 1x1 search post?

it's a post that states what you desire in a 1x1 roleplay. it includes what type of roleplaying partner you are, what type of roleplaying partner you want, and what you would like to roleplay. all 1x1 search posts go in this thread
