✿Jamie is 5’6” and has a fairly lean/scrawny build. He has fairly pale skin and curly, light brown hair that’s always messy and getting in his eyes. He has hazel eyes and a scar on his face that goes from just under his right eye to his jaw. The scar was from an incident when he was younger, he tripped and cut it on the edge of a table, but rather than admitting to his clumsiness he likes to make up a different story every time someone asks about it.
He usually wears bright/pastel clothes, graphic t-shirts or button ups, jeans and sneakers. He also wears wire frame glasses.

✿Jamie is the physical embodiment of sunshine and awkwardness. He is kind and caring, always looks on the bright side of things and tries to see the best in people, but he’s also a little too trusting and can be kind of gullible. He tries to be friends with everyone he meets, but avoids confrontation at all costs and because of this may avoid people who don’t seem like they’ll get along with him--usually because he’s scared of them. He is extremely anxious and paranoid, and is aware that his uncontrollable fear of everything isn’t the best quality for a demigod. He tends to beat himself up over this, feeling like he’s a failure because he’s not as willing as many of the others to throw himself into a fight, but he usually keeps this to himself, trying to be the one who always has a smile and a bad joke for anyone who might need it. He has an incredibly cheesy sense of humour, but a contagious laugh that usually makes up for it. He is a talented artist, but doesn’t like to show off his work and is awkward about being praised. He tries to cover up his fears and insecurities with false confidence and humour.

✿Jamie was raised by a single, overprotective father. His dad knew the truth about Jamie’s mother, and the dangers that came with his godly heritage. Because of this, he tried a little too hard to keep him safe. Growing up, Jamie was extremely sheltered, the concerns and paranoia of his father spreading to him and contributing to his anxious demeanour and tendency to catastrophize things. He never knew much about his mother, but when she was mentioned his father spoke highly of her. Jamie somehow managed to avoid monster attacks by running and hiding, never having the guts or the ability to fight back. When they started to become more frequent, his father decided that although he didn’t want to send Jamie away to camp, it was probably the safest place for him to be, at least for summers.

Appearance:

✩ Auggie’s most distinctive trait is her long, wavy hair dyed dark purple. She has bright blue eyes, and is almost never seen without black winged eyeliner. She’s 5’3” and very bitter about it, but if anyone dared make a comment about her height they’d probably find themselves at the end of her knife. She has a slim frame, but is stronger than she looks. She has a slit in her left eyebrow—a scar from an incident when she was younger,—several piercings (both lobes, helix, and her right eyebrow) and a small stick and poke tattoo of a crescent moon on her right wrist. She usually wears ripped black jeans, black converse and baggy band t-shirts, as well as either a worn, denim jacket or an oversized leather jacket that belonged to her uncle. She also wears a guitar pick on a chain around her neck (also formerly belonging to her uncle).

Personality:

✩Auggie generally appears as cold, callous and uncaring. She tends to avoid most of the other campers, but when she does interact with them she’s often harsh and aggressive. Most of this is an act, a mask of intimidation put on to protect herself from getting hurt, however she does have a tendency of trying to punch her way out of problems. She has difficulty opening up to people, and is terrified of getting close to anyone due to the fear of losing them, or getting hurt in her vulnerability. Because of this, it is extremely difficult to get past her mask of cynicism and hostility, but when it does she is loyal to those that she cares about and will do anything to protect them, including putting herself in danger. She is independent to a fault, incapable of accepting help from others or admitting when something is wrong, always assuming that somebody else is worse off and that makes her problems irrelevant. She is impulsive, headstrong and quick to anger. She also struggles with anxiety, and often has panic attacks that trigger her cryokinesis powers.

History:

✩ Auggie was born and raised in New York City. She lived with her mother and a man who she was told was her biological father. Although her mother knew about Auggie’s real father, she made the choice to lie to her and deny the existence of her powers, thinking that it would help her to live a normal life. When Auggie started to be able to see and communicate with ghosts, she was often accused of lying or making up stories and her mother never disputed these claims, hoping that eventually it would just go away. Her powers only ever caused trouble for her, other kids either avoiding her or making fun of her. She had one friend she was close to, Stella, until she accidentally revealed her ice powers while protecting her from a group of bullies. This to Auggie avoiding Stella out of fear that she would hate her, be afraid of her, or that Auggie would accidentally hurt her.

Auggie’s mortal dad left when she was six, and her mother blamed her for it. Her relationship with her mom deteriorated after this. Her mom was irresponsible, wasn’t often around, and when she was she seemed to do her best to make Auggie’s life miserable. Auggie spent a lot of time away from her home because of this, and started getting involved with a group of kids who often got into trouble. She also spent a lot of time at her Uncle’s, the only person who was actually a responsible caretaker in her life. Unfortunately, her uncle was killed in a motorcycle accident shortly before she came to camp, this event leading to her inability to communicate with spirits.

She ran away from home often, usually being found and brought back relatively quickly. The last time she ran away she was twelve. She hadn’t expected it to be permanent, but was found by a satyr and brought to camp. She only tried to contact her mother once and got no reply. She assumed her mom simply ignored the letter and wanted nothing to do with her anymore, and had accepted this until recently when she decided to Iris message her mom, and found out from a friendly old man watching Jeopardy that she had been dead for five years.

He’s tall and lean, with tan skin. He usually dresses smartly, much less casual than is necessary for a summer camp, but he wants to always look his best. The most casual he gets is a black leather jacket and skinny jeans, though that’s usually still paired with a dress shirt. He has a piercing in one ear and has a drop earring—a small gold dagger on a chain that turns into his actual celestial bronze dagger.

➳Caleb is extremely charming and charismatic and tends to get on well with everyone he meets, easily gauging the person he is with and manipulating his personality to be someone they’d like, while somehow staying true to himself. He is easy going and confident, and is not shy about that fact that he thinks he’s the greatest person to ever walk the earth. He is usually relaxed, and tends to be extremely calm in tense situations, though sometimes he seems to make himself quite scarce while the camp is dealing with a crisis, offering no explanation for this. Despite his seemingly open and honest nature, and his habit of saying whatever is on his mind, he is also quite secretive and good keeping the things he doesn’t want others to see hidden. He can be seen as a bit egotistical, eccentric and narcissistic, but he plays it off in a charming and playful way. He exudes confidence, but never tries to tear others down, always encouraging his campmates to hold themselves to the same standard that he does himself. He flirts with pretty much everyone, regardless of whether he’s interested in them or not, it’s just how he is. Extroverted as heck.

➳Caleb was born in Dublin, Ireland. He had a younger sister (not a demigod) who he was extremely close to and protective of. He started coming to camp when he was eleven, but he only stayed for the summers then, wanting to be at home with his sister and to keep her safe. He didn’t have a very good relationship with his father, and felt that it was his responsibility to raise his sister and keep her safe. Two years later, a monster attacked the house while he wasn’t home, his sister was killed. Caleb partially blamed himself for this, but he also blamed his father. After that he began staying at camp year round until he turned 18 and was able to live on his own, coming to camp only in summers once again. He is still haunted by the death of his sister, though he doesn’t often show it or bring it up, but he harbours a lot of anger and resentment towards himself and his father for what happened, and would do anything to get her back.

☘︎Aoife is loud, confident, hyper, and can make herself comfortable in nearly any situation. She has a serious lack of filter and speaks her mind always. Though she would never intentionally offend anyone, saying everything that pops into her head can sometimes lead to this. She enjoys pranks and causing mischief, but never at anyone else’s expense. She can be a bit reckless and headstrong, doesn’t think before she acts, but she feels extremely guilty when she does anything to hurt someone, even if she didn’t mean it. She also lacks basic self preservation instincts, will never say no to a dare and will do literally anything to make people laugh or smile. She is very open and honest, having nothing to hide and lacking the ability to hide it if she did. She wants to be a trustworthy person, but telling her secrets won't end well as it’ll probably slip out of her mouth to the next person she talks to—but she’ll also feel extremely guilty about this.

☘︎(This is incredibly inaccurate I need to fix this) Aoife was born and raised in County Clare, Ireland. She lived with her father, step mother and two older step brothers. Her father died when she was three, so she barely remembers him, but she was close with her step mother and considered her to be her real mother, as well as her brothers. She had the typical demigod trouble in school and run ins with monsters, but she also managed to cause quite a bit of chaos on her own, often running her mouth and getting into trouble. She got in with a bad crowd around her preteen years, her behaviour spiralling badly. This only ended when her family moved to New York when she was thirteen and she was found by a satyr and brought to camp soon after where she stays for summers.

♠Vittorio has never been a fan of the “dumb brute” stereotype, and because of this has always tried his hardest to appear as the exact opposite. He obsesses over old films, books, poetry and philosophy, wanting to be known for his intelligence and kindness or really anything other than ‘that kid who always gets into fights.’ Though the obsession started as a way to divert attention from his violent tendencies, he does actually have a passion for all of it and has a tendency to fall a little bit in love with everyone and everything. He usually comes across as kind and friendly, always willing to put others first and hates having attention on himself. However, he has a very short temper. He tries to hide it, but he’s quick to anger and can lash out pretty badly if the situation arises.

She is slow to anger, but if someone oversteps a boundary she will put them in their place. ✵Collin’s mom died when he was extremely young and because of this he has spent most of his life in a foster home with five other kids. The parents were not very kind people and extremely negligent caretakers, all the other children were younger than him, which left Collin to be responsible for his siblings. He started coming to camp when he was eleven and was claimed shortly after. Camp is the only place he’s ever really felt that he belonged, but despite this and the fact that his life at home is not very good, he still feels a responsibility to his foster siblings and wants to look out for them, so he only stays at camp for summers.

✵Collin is kind to everyone but himself, and tries to distract from his own problems by helping others, prioritizing their feelings over his. He is constantly trying to make people smile, and will do everything in his power to make sure those around him are happy and safe, even if it’s to his own detriment. He is a master in the art of putting on a brave face, learned from many years of experience with his younger siblings. He bottles up everything he feels, making sure not to let any sign of weakness show. He always tries to see the best in people, making excuses for them even if they really don’t deserve it. He is a lot better at dealing with kids than people his own age, but is still fairly extroverted, charismatic and good at making people feel comfortable.
