Nicknames: Hank
Gender: Male

Birthday: June 4th
Sexuality: ???

XXXXXXX

Camp Information
Weapon(s): A compound bow with celestial bronze tipped arrows and a celestial bronze hunting knife for close range. The bow is from his mom, hence why it doesn’t have a travel version. He doesn’t have a great history with the Mist, so he avoided weapons that require it, however the knife does collapse for travel/repurposing.

He also has cuffs that cover his forearm from his wrist to his elbow, celestial bronze on the outside with deer hide interior (so they double as arm guards, he has a matching celestial bronze/deer hide finger tab) and a few of his arrows emit a noise when fired in a pitch that only dogs can hear that were made by a friend in Hephaestus cabin (now deceased, didn't return the next summer)
XXXXXXX

Godly Parent: Apollo
Claimed?: Yes
Cabin: Head counselor of Cabin 7
Powers & Skills:
-Photokinesis (ability to manipulate light)
  • camouflage people/things by warping the light around them, turning them invisible, with a slight mirage effect.
  • make an object glow
  • attach light particles to an object, creating a warm, but extremely bright thing
  • pull light particles together to create a “torch”
  • could probably start a fire if he concentrated this hard enough, but doesn't have the patience
-Extremely good at mimicking animal calls. This could probably translate to voices as well, but Hank would never do that without consent and only launches into the most exaggerated impressions for comedic effects.
-Heals exceptionally fast. Hank tries to limit this as it requires a lot of energy and, if overused, can leave him in bed rest for days. But major injuries override this, causing him to become ill as his body focuses resources on the injured area.
-Can determine someone's injuries from a glance., including how severe they are. [But still is not healing inclined. He could tell you exactly what bone you'd broken, where and how, but would not be able to help]
-Great archer with any bow, but favors a compound because it’s what him and his mother used to hunt with
- Is surprisingly good at poems and English, but prefers to write long-winded versions that tend to border on beautifully pretentious
-Has a great singing voice, but is tone death to others singing. (Hence Juliet friendship)
-Can harvest and butcher most game
-Experienced in hunting, fishing, horseback riding (Western), and camping (see history)
-Knows a plethora of knots and their uses

Number of Beads on Necklace: 5

Ambrosia and nectar: Nectar is black coffee, which his mom would make for early morning hunts. Ambrosia is snap stew, like what they'd make in winter or on the rare occasion that he was befallen with the common cold.
XXXXXXX

Physical Description
Hank is 5’7” (~170 cm) (yeah, he’s a little salty about this) with a wiry build and broad shoulders. He has sun-blonded brown hair (honestly, it's mostly blond at this point) , which has grown out roughly and frames his face (He ties it up for archery as best he can, but it isn't quite long enough to stay). He has tan skin that almost seems to glow, a gift from his father. He also has a smattering of freckles, and cheek dimples that are often on display. He has mostly straight teeth, but with a little playful crookedness that adds a a joke to his grin.
He has green eyes that catch the light well and lend themselves to his overall "golden" appearance.

There’s a large scar on his left shin from a monster bite, but he has since covered it with a jackalope tattoo with help from Jamie. He wears shorts year-round to make sure that it is on full display. He also has several scars along his arms, from when he was trying out a knife trick and didn’t quite land it (he can slow down his healing process for minor injuries, as it takes a lot out of him). He’s always in a t-shirt (usually the Camp Half-Blood orange, but he owns a fair amount of tie-dyes as well as some tank tops), and is never seen without his quiver on his hip, and his bow strapped to his back.

XXXXXXX

Personality
Hank loves making new friends and helping new campers feel welcome. Being the best archer in the Apollo cabin has made him prideful and likes to show-off, even at inopportune times. He’s also very competitive, and will not let something rest.

Caring, but not clever. The type of person who would help you with your homework, but got themselves confused while trying to explain it. Just wants to have fun and seemingly lacks the ability to take his life seriously, but can be a good listener to others when needed. He'll always find the bright side of a situation, which is something he has had to learn, because not being able to comprehend the things that are trying to kill you is frustrating.

Likes: Campfires, meeting new people, training, playing with Izzy, keeping others safe, jackalopes, black coffee, telling tales, being outside

Dislikes: Talking about his problems, losing, standing still, being cooped up indoors.

Hank's fatal flaw is be that he is well-meaning, but rather oblivious to things left unsaid. As I mentioned before, the Mist is still hard for him to see through, even as a demigod, which is part of the reason he is careful not to tread on any toes. This has led to many a memorable situation, such as the time he accidently invited a monster to tea as he didn't want to be rude of it was an actual elderly lady asking him.

Despite his bravado, he is actually terrified of not knowing what a monster is, and there for not being able to defeat it. Even though he strongly protested spending all year at CHB, he is inwardly grateful that he won’t have to deal with as many monsters.

Quirks: Has a strange connection to jackalopes, and believes that they are real. To be fair, he isn't that far off considering that monsters are real. Nervous tick is scratching his neck. Thrives on attention. Don't ask him to cook unless you want to eat ash.

XXXXXXX

Background
Spent his childhood with his mother, an avid hunter and big game guide in Wyoming, who also ran a charming country store with her homemade crafts. His mother appreciated the writers of the American Romantic period, hence him being named after Henry David Thoreau, her favorite author of that era. He had many experiences with "not-deer" (monsters, but the mist has always been thicker for him, so he had trouble identifying them) that he assumed everyone had, before having a chance encounter with a satyr who took pity on him and brought him to CHB. He prefers being just a summer camper, but his attracting monsters is bad for business back home. He loves the outdoors, and learned to mimic many animal calls while hunting with his mom, which his smooth singing voice also helped with.

He won the head counselor position last year in one of the cabin's traditional archery matches (yeah, Apollo kids ain't the brightest bulbs... but they are the shiniest!). He might not be the best choice, but he cares deeply about the other campers, and will do anything in his power to keep them safe, especially the younger ones.

Personal Relationships
Key: ♠- Enemies ♤- Dislikes ♧-Neutral/negative ♢-Neutral ♦- Neutral/positive ♡- Friend ♥-Good Friend ❣-Love interest

Hank has a good relationship with his mother, and often sends her letters.

He has never met his father, but has never had the urge to. As he sees it, his father has never been a part of his life, only his mother. He’s not angry with his father, just neutral.

He gets along pretty well with his cabin mates, although he is also very competitive with the exception of music, where he’s usually happy to observe. (He could doesn’t have much experience with music, due to his isolated childhood, but he can play the harmonica exceptionally well and has a soothing singing voice)

NPCs

Dante [♦]- Won the counsel position from, they get along alright, at least in Hank's eyes. Meanwhile, Dante regrets his decisions.

Has an English Pointer dog named Izzy [♥♥♥], and she may or may not be a secret gift from his dad to help him determine what’s actually a monster. May or may not actually be a dog, but that’s also debatable (possibly a descendant of Artemis' hunting dogs). Can definitely see through the mist, and “points” at monsters when they are lurking near him. (If she’s not directly with Hank, may be used as an NPC, very outgoing and sweet, but picks up on things and is very protective of him). I guess you could describe her as a service dog? But Hank likes to pretend that he only needs her in battle, which can lead to some... interesting interactions with other campers.

XXXXXXX

Anything Else
Feel free to pm me about established relationships! Hank has been at camp for 5 years (full time for around 3), so he'll definitely have quite a few!

Camp Information
Weapon(s):
  • A set of celestial bronze butterfly knives, which transform into a skeletal silver butterfly necklace on a long chain and can
be worn when not in use, she usually has them hidden under her hoodie (each transforms into one wing, and they connect magnetically to form the butterfly).
  • A round shield, decorated with a sneering silver-teal dragon, and bedazzled with gemstones, that transforms into a bracelet with an intricate dragon center piece, via a few clicks. In this mode, it operates as a locket and can be opened to reveal different compartments based on how many times the centerpiece is tapped on before it is opened. The compartments include a make-up mirror (if not tapped), a clock and a compass (1 tap), a vial of nectar (2 taps), a chunk of ambrosia (3 taps) and a collection of hair bands (4 taps). There are 6 compartments total, but the last is unused currently. If need be, extra taps will bring you back around to the original compartments (ex. 7 taps brings you to the mirror and so on)

Godly Parent: Aphrodite
Claimed?: Yes
Cabin: 10
Powers & Skills:
Amokinesis
  • Can feel the connections between people, even when not openly stated
  • May be effected by others emotions if they are tied to people that they love
  • Can manipulate feelings, make people feel attraction/a connection
Perception: Ophelia picks up on intricate details, be in a design or the way that a person acts. She mostly uses this for sarcastic quips and knowing who to steer clear of at camp.

-Creative, exceptional taste in style...when she wants to
-Can speak/understand French, but avoids using this
-Can embroider and hand sew, but mainly uses this for repairs or additions to her signature hoodie

Number of Beads on Necklace: 1

xxxxxx
Physical Description
Ophelia is 6 feet (~183 cm) tall (slender, but heavy boned), with black, shoulder length hair, deep blue eyes, and olive skin.
(Long version of above) Ophelia is "old world" pretty. She has high cheek bones, but you can't see them very well unless she sucks in her cheeks/is at the right angle. Her skin doesn't freckle, so it's quite smooth, and her eyes are on the normal-slightly big range, but not as striking when she's looking down or away. If you weren't looking closely, you might assume her eyes are brown or hazel, but they're hard to miss when she's looking at you, and they're framed with long, dark, straight lashes. She's slender, but her bones are heavy). She would have a bit of a curve if she wore something that fit (thanks to her broad shoulders & hips), but as is, you might notice her shoulders if you're lucky.

She has a nose stud, along with 2 piercings in each ear that always have earrings in (typically hoops or studs, nothing that swings too much).

Ophelia doesn’t use makeup often, but when she does, she goes full out with dramatic looks that sometimes border on horrifying and always take hours to craft.

When Aphrodite insisted on prettying her up for a week, she rebelled by chopping her hair off roughly. It has since grown back some, and she regrets it big time as she didn't have as much hair to braid. She usually pulls up just enough to get it out of her face, but leaves the majority down.

Her style could be described as grunge, and only looks good on her cause she’s a daughter of Aphrodite (and even then, barely). She never wears clothes that fit, preferring battered and shapeless articles of clothing, and most of what she owns has been patched and repatched endlessly, some to the point where there is more new material than original garment. She almost always wears a battered grey hoodie, which faces the brunt of this treatment.

Ambrosia and nectar: Nectar is excessively hot car repair shop hot cocoa. Ambrosia is chemical tasting store bought cookies. To be updated when she makes better memories c:

xxxxxx

Personality & Background
Ophelia’s birth broke her father’s marriage. She learned about this around the time she found out she was a demigod, and channeled her guilt about it into anger. It hadn’t been her father’s only affair, but it was the only one that resulted in a child. He was a newsreporter, and it greatly damaged his reputation, forcing him to move and find a new job. He wasn’t good at much, forcing them to move many times to find new work during her childhood.

She was outraged when she learned that her mother was a goddess, and had allowed this to happen to her. She’s since come to accept her demigod status, but finds the idea of a “goddess of love” ridiculous and avoids connections with her.

Ophelia is quiet, but not shy. She will speak her mind, when she feels that it’s needed. She makes great observations and is fantastic at assessing a scene quickly. She would do anything to rebel against her mother, and that includes learning to fight, even if deep down it makes her squeamish, and she'd much rather weasel her way out of having to hold a weapon. She has a lot of pent up anger, and is often outwardly grumpy.

She takes a while to warm up to people, but once she makes a friend, she protects them at all costs. She tries to be logical, cold, and pessimistic about the world to avoid getting hurt, but sometimes the façade slips, and she shows how truly soft she is.

likes; rain, adventures, designing armor for herself (and others, but she doesn’t usually share it with them as she probably doesn’t know them well enough), and stories. She also likes animals, especially Artemis’ wolves, which she frequently visits and sometimes uses to test armor (they couldn't care less, but she has found that they aren't immune to some treats).

dislikes;obliviousness, pie, big egos, societal expectations, failing, jump rope, dangling earrings

fears; abandonment, heights, losing loved ones, betrayal, flying in planes, dying painfully,
She would be a hopeless romantic, but it would be falling right in to what her mom wants for her, so she tries to bury that part of herself.

Her fatal flaw is seeing potential rather than reality. She is also very sensitive, and will take things to heart when they come from someone she values. And given that she tries to see the value in everyone, well...

quirks; She gets cold very easily, has a habit of playing with her butterfly pendant when stressed or thinking. Prior to owning the pendant, her nerves manifested as tugging at her sleeves. Can tell when charmspeak is being used, and attempt to resist, but this will only be effective if the speaking is weak or doesn't believe in their words. If the speaker is strong and has extreme conviction, charmspeak is actually harder on her, though she still feels the undercurrent of manipulation, but is unlikely to try resisting. Ophelia also has anxiety, but has yet to be officially diagnosed.

Personal Relationships
Key: ♠- Enemies ♤- Dislikes ♧-Neutral/negative ♢-Neutral ♦- Neutral/positive ♡- Friend ♥-Good Friend ❣-Love interest

Doesn’t get along with either of her parents, is now a full time camper.

She has 2 mortal half-sisters, one who is 4 months older than her. She has met them a few times, and would probably like them if the interactions weren't so tense for aforementioned reasons. Her half-sister's mother tried to take her in, but her dad refused to let her because Ophelia was his only connection to the elusive Aphrodite.

Begrudgingly likes having siblings and cabinmates, but won’t acknowledge parentage if avoidable.
Picks friends excessively carefully, is not nearly as careful with enemies.

Number of Beads on Necklace: 7, full timer for the past 3 years (not very happy about it)

Ambrosia and nectar: Ambrosia is poppy seed rolls, eaten on high holidays and special occasions. Nectar is grape juice.

Physical Description
Reese is 6' 3" (190.5 cm), with a rather stocky build. He has deathly pale skin that burns and does not tan, light gold hair, and dark brown eyes that don't seem to match his other coloration.
He usually keeps his hair combed and gelled back, as he was taught by his grandfather, and has features that wouldn't be very memorable, if they weren't such an odd combination. A pointy chin, thick lips and a distinctly not-quite-straight nose make up his face, and his pale lashes seem to be drowned out by his dark eyes.

As for clothes, he dresses "like an old man" in polos or dress shirts, and khakis, even going up to a full suit on a good day. His aged style is only saved by his liking of leather jackets, and refusal to wear plain dress.

Personality
Reese has a kind heart, and cares about just about everyone. Though he's very powerful, he tries to avoid using his powers in ways that harm others. He's very protective of others, and would rather take every hit himself rather than have them suffer. Reese is outgoing, but also more than willing to listen.

He was raised as a "gentlemen" and sometimes is a little old fashioned, but he tries not to let it hold him back. He's a bit of a "grandma's" boy, but he would probably have more of a backbone to her if spent more time at home. As is, he feels guilty for making her life dangerous and not being there to help her in her daily life.

But Reese also has a disturbing side, the nonhuman one. He often shows no reaction to death, and remains eerily calm in situations that he shouldn't (his cabin could be burning down around him, and he would just amble out, making jokes along the way, unperturbed.)

Fatal flaw: Not using his potential. Reese is afraid of losing control, of letting his powers take over, and injuring someone, or worse. Because of this, he overcompensates with a false calmness, which fades when faced with unknown challenges.

likes: Being helpful, tea, butter pecan ice cream, grape juice, gardening
dislikes: Poor etiquette, coffee, sparring, tomatoes, listening to people ramble

Quirks: Doesn't use contractions and avoids abbreviations when possible. Calls everyone by their full name unless specifically asked not to. Has an aversion to reptiles, but has yet to meet one.

Background:
Reese's mom isn't in the picture. She was young (only 19) and optimistic, and when she fell for Hades, she fell way too hard. She dropped out of college to have Reese, much to her parents disappointment, and went crazy when she realized that she wouldn't be enough to keep Hades' affections. She was a bright young women, with a great future in crime scene investigation, but she was also little too romantic. Reese is indeed named after Jack Dawson from Titanic. Her parents did manage to get her to intersperse it with Reese's grandfather's name. His grandparents always called him Reese, but he's found that monsters call him Jack.

Reese was raised in luxury, and has a poor perception of how much stuff should cost, or when he is "splurging" on items. He likes to make sure those he cares about have the best, so he gets it for them. He is also an amazing cook, along with knowing how to embroider, sew, and knit. This helps when he needs to stitch someone up as well as to calm his nerves and keep his hands busy. These skills were taught to him by his grandmother, as she had no other grandchildren to pass them on to and "wasn't about to let" her knowledge of the crafts die with her. Reese also inherited his grandparents' religion, which can be difficult to reconcile with his demigod status.

After his mom left, Reese was raised by his grandparents. He has been seeing ghosts his whole life, but none really bothered him, until he saw his grandfather's when he was 10. He was discovered by a satyr soon after, and spent his summers at Camp after that. He became a full time camper after an attack nearly killed his grandmother, and he worries about her being by herself, but knows it's for the best.

At camp, he actually spends a lot of time with the Apollo campers in the medic areas, and is quite good at caring for patients, especially with his abilities (hynokinesis and osteokinesis taking the spotlight there). He hopes to be a doctor eventually, and support his grandmother in the real world.

Personal Relationships
Key: ♠- Enemies ♤- Dislikes ♧-Neutral/negative ♢-Neutral ♦- Neutral/positive ♡- Friend ♥-Good Friend ❣-Love interest
Grandfather- deceased, appeared to Reese for a little while after death. It shook Jack to know that he had unfinished business, but he has since been able to pass on

Grandmother- Basically his mother, raised him. He cares about her and is very concerned about being stuck at Camp all year, wants to be able to be there for her in person.

General Information
Full name: Jennifer Ryan Hartford
Nicknames: Jen, Rye, Ryan, Hartford, basically anything but their full name. Purposefully introduces self to different people by different names, entirely for their own amusement. (Leaning toward 'Jen' as her main nickname)
Gender/Pronouns: Demigirl, she/they
Age: 16
Birthday: August 22
Sexuality: Pansexual

Camp Information
Weapon(s): Celestial bronze steak knife and a celestial bronze ribbon that turns into a worm or a rope as needed. The steak knife transforms into a bread knife as needed, and is more often used for loaves than battle. Or at least the battle you're thinking of...
She uses the worm as a shoe lace in her left boot.
The shoelace extends as needed and cannot be cut, but can be seperated into chunks at Jen's will. But it will always repair into one solid rope. His name is Jimmy, short for James Dean. Jimmy can tunnel through and eat most things, and is controlled by Jennifer.

Usually carries various seeds in her coat, but they're more of a threat rather than having a particular purpose.

Godly Parent: Demeter
Claimed?: Yes
Cabin: 4
Powers:
  • Makes excellent bread, which can be infused with properties to make the consumers fall into a slumber, become agitated, etc...
  • Can tell when someone is lying, and why they're lying (not the actual reason, just if they want to protect someone/themselves, for fun, to avoid the truth, etc...) May use this to judge whether they should be punished.
  • Extensive knowledge of plants and their properties, if they're edible, etc...
  • Can kill plants with a touch, good for clearing a field after a season is over, weeding, etc...

Number of Beads on Necklace: Three. Summer camper

Ambrosia & nectar: Ambrosia is cinnamon rolls, nectar is earl grey tea.

Physical Description
Jennifer is round faced, with watery amber eyes and dye-damaged hair that extends to her shoulders. She has bangs, and is often sporting a new color, with a current run on peach and pale pinks to make use of the bleaching done to their hair. Jennifer typically wears mild make-up, with glitter accents and fun colors.

She's 5' 5" (~170.2 cm), with a medium build. Their style consists of mostly overalls and trench coat for farming and casual chic for other activities (always with a well pocketed jacket). Although they don't have piercings, they do have a pearl necklace that they always wear. It was a gift from their parents. Shoes are always the same set of tawny steel-toed boots, no matter the occasion.

Personality
Jennifer does not see the point in loyalty. Why be stuck on someone, when you can have justice? They make a few exceptions, but those are mostly for their brothers, who have yet to learn right and wrong. They speak their mind, even if it's unpopular, and will not stand down when they get really into an argument, but that is rare.

To the casual observer, Jennifer may seem lazy or uncaring, but they'd be very wrong. They simply find the easiest solution to problems, and don't have time for idle sympathies. They plot exact revenge for transgressions, and plant the seeds for justice that may be months or years in the making. Steal a pencil, and you may find all your erasers missing for a week. Misplace practice gear, and the cuffs to your armour may go missing at inopportune times. Insult someone unfairly, and you may find that your toast makes you sick to your stomach.

They care about the underdog, but they may be roundabout in their methods of "help", to the point they may do more harm than good. They feel emotions coolly, which allows them to make calculated moves rather than fiery outbursts.

Likes: Truth, justice, good grains, pragmatic decisions, anything sweet
Dislikes: Loud noises, liars, rude people, sparring (fighting or dueling is cool though), flakey people, "let your heart decide", clowns

Fears: Being used, knives(carries a knife to combat this), drowning, sock puppets,

Fatal flaw: Losing track of "the big picture". This may be in the form of zeroing in on a specific revenge, getting bogged down by the finer details of a plan, etc...

Background
Jennifer's mom, Blake, had raised them until on her own until they were two, before meeting their mum, Gwen. They dated for a few years before marrying, but Gwen still played an integral part in Jennifer's childhood, and they view her as their full mum. Overall, Jennifer had a pretty uneventful childhood, though her mom's family was not a part of her life as they disagreed with her "lifestyle choices" in choosing to keep Jennifer, with the exception of their Aunt Jenna, who they're partially named for
Jeremy and Jake were born 5 years ago and are their adoptive brothers.

Jennifer had an uneventful childhood, though she was uprooted a few times due to her parent's work. When she was eight, they finally got a bakery of their own and settled down. It was here that Jennifer started to realize her powers pertaining to bread, though she wouldn't fully recognize them until her interaction with a satyr. She was brought to Camp at twelve, and claimed soon there after, in accordance with the Jackson decree.

Personal Relationships
Jennifer has a good relationship with her family, her mom, her mum, and her twin brothers Jeremy and Jake. She is a summer camper, and although she wishes there wasn't such a large age gap between them, she loves her brothers dearly.

(Please pm me if you have ideas, I'll add my chars relations to them later)

Hank- He reminds her of the 'sweet, but not bright' farmboys of her childhood home. She would hate him for this, but he's so damn saccharine. At least he's honest, and his weird bonded dog doesn't hurt...

Ophelia- Mild dislike. Ophelia is lying to herself about something, and it's out of something that tastes like bitterness. Really, Jen does want the best for her, as she seems to have her heart in the right place (beyond some rather basic scare tactics and defensive walls).

Reese- Jen doesn't like his "good ol' boy" act and suspects him of harboring deep biases against them. They're waiting for him to crack and expose them, as they know his powers can't be the only thing he keeps under wraps.

Anything Else
Face claim is Lili Trifilio.

I probably won't be playing them full time until certain events occur, but this is their form.

I'll add more later,

-Aggy is great at finding people's weaknesses and using this to goad them into a fight
-Knows how to fold napkins into swans
Number of Beads on Necklace: 0

Ambrosia and nectar: Ambrosia is tassies (which she made with her grandmother). Nectar is peppermint tea, her favorite.

Physical Description
Agatha barely reaches 5 feet (~152 cm) , but she makes up for that in fierceness.
She has dark red hair, which is cropped close to her face, warm brown eyes, and pale skin that is painted in freckles. She's bulky for her size, most of which is muscle with a coat of protective weight. Surprisingly enough, she actually likes wearing dresses and getting "dolled up" as it adds to her deniability of starting a fight.
At camp, she can be seen wearing a skater skirt, leggings and flowery shirts, often in varying shades of pink or red.
She keeps studs in her ears so her piercings (one in each ear) don't close, as well as an occasional pendant on a snap off chain.
She has a reddish scar on her left cheek, below her eye, from when she let a kid get her. She has no regrets about this, except that it sometimes clashes with her formal clothes.

Personality
Agatha is bold and pugnacious, but surprisingly cunning for a child of Ares. Basically, she knows how to get away with things. There were many times that she was nearly expelled from schools, but got away when her lawyer mother was called in, or video evidence was shown of her "not starting it" or "only striking in self defense". She loves fighting with words as much as she enjoys fighting with fists, and often uses taunts or insults to get a rise out of her opponent. Aggy would never start fights, she's a lady. But she can finish them.

Aggy can be surprising meek when she needs to, and presents this personality to authority figures, as she has found that it helps keep her out of trouble. She will judge based on first appearances whether or not she thinks someone is authority of has enough power, and she won't activate instant attack for the lucky few. She also has a "duckling" tendency to claim the first person or thing she sees in a new environment as her own, and be very attached to it.

Her excessive need to fight has made it hard for her to make friends, and she sometimes shows a better connection with weapons than other humans. You think I jest, but she showed more compassion to a forgotten cutlass than she'd shown anyone in years.

Likes: Sparring, her beauty sleep, winning, hard rock, trying out new weapons, peaches
Dislikes: Getting caught, not being able to defend herself, being mocked, bunk beds, bleeding (especially if it prevents her from seeing the cut, she worries about those), being grimy,

Fatal flaw: Arrogance. Aggy has gotten away with so much for so long, that she often forgets that she isn't untouchable, and makes rash decisions due to this. Has -3 self-preservation and is, to quote her "mad impatient"

Quirks: Is awful with animals. Fine motor skills are a weak spot.

Background
Aggy was raised by her mother (with the assistance of Aggy's grandparents), who had her during a bad spell in between prison sentences. Her mother, Krystal, calls her her "Grace" as she was what motivated her mom to get cleaned up and make something of herself (a lawyer). She spent her childhood happily dancing around the fact that she liked to start fights, but recently it was brought to her attention that he blood also attracted monsters, and Krystal confessed the weird stuff Aggy's father had said about being a god, and sent her to Camp-Halfblood for the summer.
It's no Hogwarts letter, but Aggy will take it.

Personal Relationships

Aggy gets along well with her mother, a lawyer, who's probably half the reason she's so pugnacious.
She likes the idea of her dad, but has yet to meet him.

She absolutely loves the idea of having siblings she can beat up any time she wants with few to no consequences, but would prefer if they could give it a rest sometimes, as you don't always have to be on fight mode, right?

Zeke Hopewell-Wondering if you know, how they live in tokyo

Postby Takara » Mon Aug 09, 2021 9:34 am

General Information
Full name: Zeke Hopewell
Nicknames: Jake, Z, Zed, Zero, Speed, Hide & Zeke, EZ open tab, Zipline, anything you want, but will only respond if he likes it (Juliet, this is for you)
Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him
Age: 17
Birthday: November 17th
Sexuality: Aromatic Asexual

Camp Information
Weapon(s): A damascused karambit (main), and a tungsten blowtorch for Greek fire (for fun and games)
Godly Parent: Hermes
Claimed?: Yes
Cabin: 11
Powers & Skills:
  • Teleportation: Zeke is able to move faster than the human brain can comprehend, resulting in a teleportation effect. He uses this often, and it's easily his most advanced power
  • Navigation: Zeke never gets lost and if placed in an unfamilar city, he will easy find his way around
  • Language adept: Zeke can pick up languages easy, and is always able to find a way to communicate with others
-Excellent at card games that require speed or sleigh of hand
-Can jump very high
Number of Beads on Necklace: 14 (Zeke's mom thought it was a lovely way for him to be supervised and give her some free time, so she started leaving him for the summers when he was quite young. He's been full time since her passing last year)
Ambrosia and Nectar: Ambrosia is peanut butter pie (usually, sometimes its tres leches cake), nectar is sweet tea

Physical Description
Zeke is 5"5', (~165 cm), mostly due to his father's influence. He has a stocky build with wide shoulders and powerful legs. He has dark skin and dark brown eyes that are almost black. His tightly curled hair is styled into a fade cut. Zeke will wear anything that he feels like at the moment, meaning that some days he rocks a toga and other days it's jeans and someone else's shirt (it most likely belongs to one of his siblings, and no, he did not ask before "borrowing" it).

Personality
Zeke is outgoing and open, but he tends to live in the moment rather than form lasting bonds. He's known as being one of the more respectible Hermes kids, though that is like being the tallest dwarf. Zeke loves being in high places and can often be found on the roof of a building or in the upper branches of a tree.

Zeke loves being included, even if the people he's hanging out with aren't friends beneath a surface veneer. He's a people pleaser, but this has also helped him develop a silken tongue for maneuvering what he wants from people. This is something he does mostly unintentionally. He also happens to be a great peacemaker and often is the voice of reason behind getting an Ares bully to let go of their target.

Despite his years of experience at camp, Zeke has never shown any desire to lead, prefering instead to be part of the trouble for counselors and camp directors (but at least he cleans up his messes...mostly). In reality, this is mainly because leading would mean accepting that he is no longer a little kid, and will soon have to leave this place that feels like a part of himself.

likes: Seeing things from new perspectives, Camp,
dislikes: Getting yelled at, criticism, change
fears: Growing up, gore,
fatal flaw: Zeke is afraid of changing and losing what he has now, so he holds on too tight to relationships and situations that hold him back from his full potential. He ignores what is in favor of what was, and fails to see what could be.

Quirks: Can often be found on rooftops or in trees, burns through shoes quickly, reflects attitude of those around him subconsciously, avoids entering combat directly unless cornered or pinned

Background
Though originally from Georgia, Zeke has spent every summer at camp since he was out of diapers. This had a profound effect on his development. Zeke loves the buzzing energy at camp, the electricity of it all. Away from camp, he feels like a shell of himself, a lone guitar instead of a full band. He's shy and indecisive, a sharp contrast to the Zeke at camp who's seemingly fearless and completely carefree.

It's easy to be more of yourself when you fit into what people expect of you, and that's why Zeke is more at home at camp than hes ever felt at his real home.

Personal Relationships
Key: ♠- Enemies ♤- Dislikes ♧-Neutral/negative ♢-Neutral ♦- Neutral/positive ♡- Friend ♥-Good Friend ❣-Love interest

Mother- Zeke doesn't see eye to eye with his mom, mostly because she was overwhelmed with him as a child and was more than happy to push him off on other people to deal with. Looking back, his time spent with her is bittersweet at best, and he can't say that he's as sad as he should be given the situation.

Hermes- Based on a single picture of him seen as a small child, Zeke is of the opinion that he could "take him" easily in a fight. They have yet to meet, so this hasn't come up since

General Information
Full name: Jane Elizabeth Daughtry
Nicknames: Lizzie (by other hunters)
Gender/Pronouns: Cisfemale, she/her
Age: "19" (Joined in 1797)
Birthday: July 7th, 1777
Sexuality: Aro-ace

Camp Information
Weapon(s):
Basic Hunter weaponry, only appears when needed.
  • Badge
a bayoneted Civil war era rifle, has been retrofitted to keep with the times as well as being equipped with imperial gold bullets
  • Betsy
A World War 1 era bone saw, also imperial gold. Usually used on already slain targets to prepare for eating
  • Bobbi
A Victorian style hatpin. Very sharp, typically worn in Jane's hairpiece and used in emergency situations
Godly Parent: Venus Legacy (mother's side)
Claimed?: Not officially
Cabin: 8
Powers:
  • Plant location & identification
Not much of a "power" per se, but Jane has a green thumb and is one of the best gatherers that the Hunt has seen. When prey is low, she always manages to find edible plants, and often enough to sustain the other hunters
  • Intention sensing
Jane can uncannily determine if someone has harmful intents on one of her sister's and is more than ready to erase such people.
  • Immortality
    Unless killed in battle...
Number of Beads on Necklace: None. Never attended camp or the legion

Physical Description
Jane is 5' 3" (~160 cm) tall, but what she lacks in height, she makes up for in ferocity. Her face is beautiful, but easily forgotten. Brown eyes over alabaster skin. Her long hair is typically pinned back under her circlet, and she favors simple dresses or skirts that she can put on herself, with thick boots. She has a wide variety of overgarments, but a particular flair for cloaks. You would not know how old she is from looking at her, as she has kept her head down and changed with the times, both in style and mannerisms.

Personality & Background
Jane is just trying to survive. It's what she told herself when she ran away to join the world outside her windows, and it's what she tells herself now. Jane was an extra, the 6th daughter of 11 children. While well off, her world was stifled by social decorum and spiced with needle pricked fingers. She spent her whole life keeping her head down, and that filtered into her time as a hunter as well. As such, she is well attuned to the finer details of social cues.

Jane has never been the bravest, the strongest, or the wisest. But she's still alive, and that counts for something. She has many regrets, and the only fear she is still sensitive to is the dread of what lies on the other side of the veil for her. She has a bad habit of keeping important information to herself. What she is, is loyal, able to follow orders to a t, and joyful (when the situation permits). Her upbeat attitude can light up a room, but she's more than content if it makes just one person smile.

She enjoys trying new things, laughing and cooking
She dislikes bad cooking, ne'er-do-wells, and pessimistic people.
She is afraid of dying.
Her fatal flaw is being afraid of caring too much.

Quirks
Jane has a habit of mixing slang from various eras, as she doesn't have a preference for one over the other and the passage of time seems exceedingly fast to her. Whenever she is near the grave/place of death of fallen hunters, she tries to leave flowers because she knows that she is likely the last person to have a living memory of them. She has an extremely low tolerance for uncouth behavior toward her hunters, and will repay unwanted remarks with a prick of her (very sharp) hatpin.

She also smokes handrolled cigarettes, and has a tendency to roll them when she's nervous or lost in thought.

Personal Relationships
Jane has respect for the other hunters, but does not open up to them unless she needs to. They have a bad habit of perishing on her, and it only hurts too bond too soon. Still, she is quite good at remembering and celebrating birthdays and other important occasions.

She doesn't remember much of her family, and prefers it that way. Some things should be left to the sands of time.
