her midnight colored pelt is soft and thick, neatly encapsulating her muscular
frame. she has two matching jagged scars on her shoulders, marking where her
wings were ripped from her body. her eyes are blood red with thin black slits for
pupils, not unlike that of a crocodile.

* beth's earlier arrogance has mostly diminished. she does not dwell on the time
that she was an angel. rather, her life truly began when she became a demon.
she holds no animosity or grudges against angelkind. however, due to the
atrocities she committed on behalf of the demonic beings, she is quite the
controversial character. beth has a laissez faire attitude in life and would
rather let bygones be bygones (easy for her to say).
* replacing her original superiority complex is a fervent curiosity, mostly
focused on mortals and there way of life. beth feels she has no real stake in life
and prefers to just sit back and observe. every once and a while she'll ask a
question, though she mostly comes to conclusions by herself.

she has no deep rooted ambitions and isn't vying to be on top. she would much

tendencies, she doesn't act on it unnecessarily. but when it comes down to it,

find pleasure in doing so.
* when interacting with others, beth will speak freely and can often comes across
as blunt or insensitive. she doesn't do this on purpose, but will not feel regret
if she hurts feelings. beth enjoys company, so she tries her best to act friendly,
although it doesn't always work out. she isn't uncivilized and would never raise
her voice or make a scene, but she is known to accidentally instigate a fight.

the sun gleamed brightly overhead while the infernal being drifted about, a slight breeze rustling the grasses of the meadow. every so often, she would pause and appreciate the vibrant flowers growing in thick patches. though she moved with an innate stealth, it was a pointless effort. beth's midnight colored pelt was a stark contrast against the daylight of the meadow. this was no matter, she was here merely to enjoy the peace and quiet of such a lovely atmosphere.

her time living in the halidom had been mostly pleasant and lead her to believe she made the correct decision in abandoning her solitary life. unfortunately, her initial seclusion may have lead to some adverse effects, but beth figured there was still plenty of time to improve her relations with her members.

for today, one destination buzzed in her mind. a stream, wide enough and deep enough so the black panther could submerge the majority of her body. she began with dipping her claws in the water so clear the pebbled bottom was easily visible. taking not a moment more, beth immersed herself in the delightfully cool water. the brisk stream felt like a gentle massage, a particular satisfying feeling for the ugly scars adorning her shoulders. hundreds of years have passed since the removal of her angel wings, and there were times when beth felt the aching tug of a ghost sensation. there was no regret paired with her actions that were responsible for her downfall, but even still, it was undeniable there was something missing.

a snapping twig pulled her from her thoughts, and beth swiveled her head to face the source of the sound.
