Knowing she would have to go back to her Clan, Pearltuft left the rouge group without her daughter. About a month after being left behind, Crow, or Velvetpaw when she finally came to the Clan, strayed away from her father one day and stumbled into the Clan's territory, being taken it and raised within the Clan. Velvetpaw, as she was renamed, later learned that her mother Pearltuft went missing once again and is presumed to be deceased.
