They are fraternal twins. Hope has dark brown hair with blue eyes. She is quite short (5’0) and slim.
Avery has blonde hair and identical blue eyes. She is a few inches taller (5’5) than her sister and has a curvy build.

while Hope is bi.
Hope’s power:
Hope has the power to look into a person’s memories,
simply by looking the person in the eye. However, this causes her
side effects such as seizures, weakness, blackouts, and other harmful things.
Because of these side effects she has been involved in
multiple accidents, including one that caused a death.
She carries a lot of guilt because of this power, not only because of the death
she helped cause, but also from knowing the deepest parts
of a person without consent. For this reason,
she avoids eye contact unless told she can.
When done lightly, she’s able to read a person’s thoughts
from their memories.
She also has the power to control and manipulate ice. She has perfect control of this, and hasn’t had any issues.
Avery’s power:
Avery is the literal opposite of her sister. She has the power to control
and manipulate fire, but trying to do so results in the same side effects
her sister experiences from her memory absorption.
However, she can read people’s memories and thoughts almost expertly.
She uses this to blackmail and manipulate people.
Unlike her sister, she has no sense of guilt.
Her and her sister also share the ability to control each other using their minds, however Hope is unaware that she shares this, thus leaving her vulnerable to Avery’s whims.
Hope’s personality:
She is very timid and shy, partly due to
her power and partly due to her sister, who is borderline abusive towards her, and has been since they were small children. She doesn’t have the will to disobey.
She is very kind and caring towards those close to her, which historically is not many. Once she opens up, she is very bright and lively. Without her sister she is a very nice person overall.
Avery’s personality:
She is very blunt, sarcastic, and cunning. She doesn’t care for the feelings of others; she is the definition of a sociopath. She cares for herself alone, and doesn’t bother to hide her intentions, unless it helps her get what she wants in the end. She works through her sister using mind control to do her dirty work, including thievary and arson, as well as using her ice powers, because as stated before, Hope has complete control over them, unlike Avery and her fire. This was the reason her and her sister were put into the facility.
