Kicked out of home when her powers manifested by parents far too cowardly to report their daughter to taskforce
themselves, Edie stubbornly managed to defy fate by escaping the notice of the government agency that had stolen
so many of her "kind" into their system. Instead, she found her place among the dimly lit catacomb streets, running
with other nobodies and nothings under the protection of one Roy Ettore, a man she came to regard as a father, alt
hough he might not quite deserve the pedestal she'll place him on in the rare occasion she vocalises any part of her
past. Life on the streets was hard. A survivor to her core, Edie responded to all the world's cruelties by hardening
herself. She adapted fast and learnt quicker, forcing her power to bend to her control through stubborn relentless
will. Never the kind to submit, every punch and pummel she earned herself had her springing up for more, because
she was going down it would sure as heck be on her own terms. Spitting blood or not at all. Whatever that time on
the streets counted as, good, bad and in-between, all things end eventually. Consistent reckless behaviour resulted
in the catchup of consequence as taskforce agents caught wind of a girl who could blink through the world at will.
She was forced to turn to the sanctuary of rebellion, finding guidance beneath the prior recruiting officer Betha Le.
She climbed through the ranks, resulting in her current positioning as recruitment officer.

Sparrow wasn't the name this seventeen year old was born with, but
it's the only one she'll provide. Given her bird-related powers of mimi
cry and aviation manipulation, the name suits her well enough. Driven
primarily by grief and a desire to avenge what was taken from her, Sp
arrow is a resourceful and opportunistic gal. She can seem withdrawn
& reluctant to open herself up to others, dodging questions about her
history while at the same time being ever curious to learn about others.

Sparrow was taken to one of the schools when her mother noticed the
uncanny behavior that birds seemed to display around her. Sparrow ca
n communicate with and receive help from any species of bird around
her. She can also channel herself through them: see through their eyes
while her own body enters a kind of stasis; this stasis will be broken if
her body perceives itself to be in danger. Sparrow also has the ability
to mimic sounds she hears. At first this ability was limited only to bird
sounds and believed to be part of her aviation manipulation, but it was
later discovered this mimicry could extend to any sound, including voi
ces, resulting in it being considered as a separate power.

Sparrow trained alongside another girl with similar powers to her own.
The two grew close, going from best friends to lovers - but then her
lover was taken from her with no warning or word; there one day and

Roman empire, relic to the tiny impromptu 'empire' that his
history teacher mother formed as the eldest of three brothers,
and a relic of an old civilised world overrun by the living dead.
The latter is an achievement for anyone nowadays, but even
moreso for Relic considering his impulsive nature and his app
arent inability to feel fear. Relic is reckless and unpredictable,
guided by emotions over logic while at the same time manag
ing to be irritatingly headstrong.Relic isn't the easiest soul to
