he's always been a relatively calm, soft person. haru will
only resort to violence if it's the absolute last option.
he does have somewhat of a problem of putting
others first continually, but he will defend himself
if he feels it would be right to do so.
he gives much more than he takes, and while
it might be unhealthy, especially in a zombie
apocalypse, he continues to do so
because he wants to.
haru also sees value in all living creatures - may
it be plants, animals, or something else.
which, when the dead started walking, provided
problems for him. they still do. he struggles to kill
them, not because of physical weakness, but
because there's still a part of him that views
them as human.

and other typically "feminine" things, although her passion,
which still stays true, was with the ocean. she was aiming to
become a marine biologist before the world ended, and
most likely would have became one.
despite her quiet nature, she is in no way shy. simply, she
has always been one to observe - but she can definitely be
a more hands on person. just in general, she has a tendency to be
more physical, whether that be affection or communication.
her body language often speaks more than she does.
and, after the apocalypse mercilessly ripped apart her
family, she's become more... ruthless, perhaps is the right word.
she's become careless.

her parents were still quick to teach her to be humble, to
