she tends to be collected, always opting to say less even if
they do care, because she doesn't trust easily. but if she does,
it will be cautiously as she doesn't want anyone hurt. with it,
she can be unforgiving like with her parents and herself. even
so, she can be quite the caring cat when she needs to be. she
would rather risk her own life than anyone get hurt again.

she was originally born into the clan to duskflame and plumfang,
with her brother, palekit. both of the kits had been named for
their pale pelt color, appearing more like their father than any
of their mother. the two siblings had always been close, not that
it lasted. while they were training on their tracking, they had
found a fox. they thought they could chase it off themselves. she
had froze when it began to fight, and her brother had died. when
someone had found them, she hadn't moved. their parents could
not have cared about palepaw any less, when they had rushed to
her instead. she alone mourned for her brother, she hasn't spoke
to her parents since, and she blames herself for what happened.

she is very hardworking, and tends to think more practically
when dealing with most matters. although if in a bad mood,
she can get awfully sarcastic and snarky, along with her being
quite blunt. if they were to be hurt, she could be very fierce
and aggressive to whoever harmed him. for the most part she
is collected and would appear quite calm to most.

she was originally born outside out of the clan to jinx and spike
being the only kit, and so she dealt with them mistreating her
until she was old enough to leave. it was many moons later that
she had returned, meeting her younger siblings. spider, leaf, &
bird they were named. she stayed, deciding that she would try
to be a good role model for her siblings since their parents were
not the best. she returned from hunting one day, learning that
they had seen something they shouldn't have. they had seen bird
die. to jinx & spike, no one should care much for death no matter
who. chestnut had lost her temper and killed them both. she had
took him in as her own, & was eventually accepted into the clan.

he takes after chestnut in the sense that he is also hardworking
and reserved most of the time. he does prefer to be optimistic
unlike her, and he can be quite self-destructive if he's hurt as
he tends to tear himself down quickly. he does still blame him
self for leaf's death, not that he mentions it much if at all. he
is usually timid to most cats, & he gets distracted very easily.

he was originally born outside out of the clan to jinx and spike,
along with his sisters leaf & bird, already having an older sister
from another litter. everything was alright for the small family
until they had made the two watch them murder bird at only 3
moons old. they were then protected by chestnut who had put
them in the den before she had lost her temper with them, but
were too busy trying to process what their parents had done to
their sister to care much. their older sister took them with her
when she left that day. they wandered for a while, & they had
taken to calling her their mother instead of jinx, and she hadn't
even tried to correct either of them. since then, he has simply
enjoyed life in the clan, glad that they joined.

she is truly not one to trifle with, because she could easily lose
her temper. she does not trust easily if at all, & if anyone ever
harms her son, then they will pay and she will make sure of it.
despite her bad traits, she is very compassionate although she
tries not to show it as much, she is quite fair and amiable.

she was born out of the clan to diana and hoot, with her younger
sister named valerie. the family was quite close and she couldn't
remember a time when they weren't happy. one day, she had met
a warrior called waspnose. they had eventually grown closer and
she had said yes when he asked her to be his mate. it wasn't that
long until she was expecting his kits, and both of them had been
delighted about. but it only lasted until the kits were born, and
he had taken the two kits back to the clan, & she learned that he
took the kits to his clan mate, lightmist, so she could raise them
instead. with luck, she was able to get the kits back but one of
her sons hadn't ate since he was stolen and had passed due to it.
she left, & eventually found a new mate: onyx. when her son was
five moons old, she was accepted into the clan after onyx died.

he tends to think very optimistically, unlike his mother, and he
can be quite playful although he is also cautious around most
cats. he is usually distrustful, unsure of who he can trust but
he likes to see the good things before the bad. he is much like
his namesake, he is for the most part, very bright and curious.

he was born as a rogue to waspnose and ceto with his brother,
caerus. not long after they were born, their father had stole the
two from ceto and gave them to his mate in the clan, lightmist,
since she had lost her own kits the night before. however since
they were away from their mother, caerus had refused to nurse
from the clan cat. by the time she was able to take them back,
one of her sons had passed. he was raised by his mother & her
new mate, onyx, assuming that the loner was his father. he had
been down for a while after his adoptive father passed from a
fox attack. but then they had been accepted into the clan, and
he couldn't help but be incredibly curious about everything. he
is also very excited about the prospect of his younger siblings.

brother pearkit. her brother had soon passed after their birth in leafbare,
as he had fell ill with greencough. her mother had caught it as well, and
she was the only queen at the time. her daughter had gotten greencough
as easily as she had. in a kit that small, it was a wonder she had lived but
not without a cost. she became more fragile, and simply couldn't do many
things that she should have been able to do. she had become a permanent
queen, although that hadn't stopped her from getting a mate. smokeflame
had grown close to her, and she had been delighted to hear she was going
to have kits but he hadn't been. that's when she found out he was more in
love with a kittypet named jolene than her, & he had left to be with her.

he was born out of the clan to kesia and leopard, a pair of ex-kittypets,
alongside his sister, tiny. they had both been named for how small they
were. his sister hadn't lasted throughout the night, and it was a miracle
to see that he had. it was seven moons later when his parents had simply
left him in the clan territory. he had been found by a clan patrol and they
took him in much to his surprise. in the short time he was there, he found
a liking for the herbs and everything that came with being a medicine cat.
he's never grown close enough to any cat to ask them to be his mate, but
he has had some cats more like his kits to him, & he was chosen to be their
adoptive father and he never disagreed with it. he loves being a medicine
cat, and is quite happy for someone who was abandoned as a young cat.

he is incredibly friendly to most cats, always trying to prove himself to be better than his father, but he tends
to be very insecure about himself, and can be quite self-destructive although he tries to hide that side of him
self. he is an absolute sweetheart regardless of all of his flaws and he is usually peppy around others but he is
a little quirky, having little habits that he would most likely change if he could. he is soft-hearted & he wears
his heart on his sleeve, even though he has gotten hurt before it has not stopped him from opening up around
anyone else. he isn't as close with his younger sister as he'd rather be but he won't abandon his clan to see her
as she was born a kittypet.
