jack is a people person, and a ladies' man, perhaps, if he ever got the
chance. he is naturally good with people, being the peacekeeper betw
een his friends. he's rather trustworthy and can keep a secret, but he
can be too trusting of new faces. jack is good at keeping calm under
pressure and will keep the bigger picture in mind, but he is unwilling
to take risks regarding his friends. he tends to bottle up his emotions,
making him a loose cannon if his temper finally overflows.
ever since the murders, the werewolf has adjusted to life alone with h
is three friends, but he still craves new human interaction deep down.
however, he would never abandon his companions for anything.

power: empathy. when he touches a person, he can feel their emotions.
he can see memories (especially relevant ones), and he can manipulate
emotions, but the latter drains his energy most. due to hating his pow-
ers, roman often wears gloves. if he touches someone's skin with his
own (not necessarily his hands), he involuntarily reads their emotions,
but he can still use his powers without touching someone. his power
gets weaker the further away someone is.
he very much prefers to manipulate people without using his powers,
as it gives him more pleasure. if he does use his powers, which isn't
too often anymore, he tries to do it as secretly as possible.

personality: roman is an aloof person, never truly seeming close to any-
one that is not one of the rare few he likes to be around. he prefers more
stoic people, as he has always hated dealing with emotions. to roman, it
can get overwhelming and annoying, but he knows his way around feeli-
ngs like he knows the back of his hand. he can be dismissive of the emo-
tions of others, but that doesn't always mean he doesn't care, usually de-
pending on who. one of his defining traits is his manipulative nature—he
can turn a crowd of naysayers into believers and enjoy doing so. he is
clever, especially around people, but tends to be selfish. all of this causes
many to be untrusting and closed-off around him, but that's not to say he
isn't a good ally to have.

history: roman was born to a human father and mutant mother. as a kid,
he often kept quiet with his head down, doing what he was told to do,
and went to public school. his powers began to manifest at age eleven,
though they went rather unnoticed until he discovered he could influence
the emotions of others. his parents noticed, but decided to keep him in
the same school system. year after year, roman's personality grew more
and more manipulative, and his average grades shot up when he realized
sophomore year that he could exploit or nudge teachers into giving him
better grades. this caused his parents to unenroll him from public school
and send him to the academy, which accepted him tentatively.
