--- nerissa is like a living, breathing porcelain doll; who, like a doll, seems to rar
ely speak, eats, or make any living human-like action at all. this young lady has
always been quiet, even when she was in her most lively stages of life. much of
this is due to her reoccurring issue with her throat and vocal cords. she never w
anted to bother her parents with the issue of it, until it because so bad that she
would go weeks without speaking to anyone and her family assumed she was be
ing bullied at school. they only found out about the underlying condition once t
hey took her to the doctors to possibly be prescribed anti-depressants. even th
ough her condition could be resolved through surgery the doctors discovered th
at she had a hereditary heart disease from her mother's side and would likely no
t survive being put under anesthesia for as long as it would take to fix her.
--- even with the amount of health issues that nerissa has she has never let it ef
fect her in a negative way. she carries herself with an enormous amount of prid
e and doesnt let anyone's opinions sway her confidence. while she is a woman o
f few words, she is sill a very opinionated individual who will let you know wha
t she is thinking even if she has to write it across your forehead backwards.
--- because she doesnt speak often, if at all, people tend to think that rissa is a
quiet, naive, breakable girl who will never be able to stand up for herself. but
like other people who have found themselves at a disadvantage she just adapt
s to the rest of the world. in someway loosing her voice has made her more re
silient. she is a very intuitive mind and can problem solve like no other.
--- another common misconception about this little lady, is that she has a heart
completely made out of gold. while nerissa is kind and forgiving she is not a s
weetheart who will give you everything and ask nothing in return. she will m
ake sure she is paid back, & will pay you back if you every happen to aid her.

o collect rare handbags and pieces of jewelry as a lifetime hobby.
