✦ say hello to piper! this is a female springer spaniel. she's purebred, and two and a half years old. in the scavenger ranking.

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

✦ to start off, this female is a very kind soul. she's a loyal friend to anyone that shows kindness to her. piper enjoys exploring but often becomes lost.. that being said, she can seem quite forgetful or unorganized. it's important to know that she's a sensitive and emotional dog. not exactly dramatic in this way, but is quick to pout and whimper when made fun of, etc.

piper is easily love struck and just as easily flattered. not being loved is her greatest sorrow, she would claim. truly, she just doesn't like being alone. something strange that clashes with her natural spaniel instincts is that she dislikes hunting. no-one knows if it's just that she despises work or if it's for some other reason. she get's worried quickly in any stressful situation whether it involves other dogs or just her. piper is accepting to new dogs.. which is great in some cases but in others it only causes her to be naive. she is known as a curious fae but tries not to seem overbearing. her worst fear is being alone in life.

ᴋɪɴ & ʀᴏᴍᴀɴᴄᴇ

✦ this canine has no mate and has never had puppies. her dam and sire are both purebred springer spaniels, living in a house many states away. piper does adore the idea of love, and settling with another dog.. but hasn't found a match yet. there are plenty of handsome dogs around but none with the right personality. [open for crushes, etc]

ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

✦ this spaniel is a shorter height than her breed's standard. she's forty lbs and stands at roughly eighteen inches tall, with a lean frame. with long fluffy ears and an undocked tail, she trots around on short legs. has freckle markings on her face, along with sweet golden eyes. her fur color is a rich brown with white markings. spots cover her legs and paws as well. piper has no scars. she does have the faint scent of fresh lemon on her coat, from her previous household. this canine has no experience in fighting or hunting, making her an easy target.

✦ this angel goes by the name of oakley. he's a male american bulldog with some possible mastiff genes. oakley has just turned four years old. currently a stay in the country. he's lived most of his life with a loving family, but was abandoned after a tragic accident and they realized he wasn't the same. they missed the times when he was playful yet refused to give him time to heal. ranking is packmate

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

✦ oakley is just about the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. he loves to snuggle close to his loved ones and can be quite charming. his manners are wonderful, never speaking over someone and often expressing his gratitude to his friends. however, he respects everyone out of fear and avoids fighting at all costs. some call him a submissive coward. it's difficult for oakley to comprehend when other dogs are joking around versus making fun of him. he does crave company and dislikes being left alone, but hates being placed in the spotlight. oakley isn't particularly shy, just cautious around other male dogs that might hurt him. he has an incredible sense of smell. he could track something from miles away. overall, oakley has a has a gentle soul and it's rare to see him lose his temper. he would do anything for friendship...or even love. he's gullible and will believe most things that he's told. this male is always willing to help his friends with problems by listening when he's needed. he does show a great level of loyalty although will flee when faced with a challenge. all he needs is a little love!

ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

✦ his fur is short, not built for cold weather. it's mostly light brown with some white markings. he has quite a few scratches on his face and a few on his legs. his ears are floppy yet usually held to each side of his skull. oakley has a muscular build with legs that are proportionate to his body. with a battered face and weighing in at eighty-six pounds you'd think he'd be a fighter, when in reality he wouldn't harm anyone. he's approximately twenty-eight inches tall at his shoulder. oakley is mostly healthy, but limps on his front leg.

✦ this handsome guy goes by the name of titan. he is a purebred american akita. titan just recently turned four years old and has spent two of those years on the street. wip

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

✦ towards most strangers and male dogs, he comes off as menacing and overbearing. even if the other male doesn't want to fight and shows no sign of being a threat, titan will turn to aggression. he has no sense of humility, and thinks incredibly highly of himself. whatever he wants, he shall get. if not then there will surely be trouble. titan likes his personal space. he can't stand being bugged by younger dogs or puppies, and doesn't have any time to fool around with dogs of those likes. he relies heavily on his physical strength, whether in battle or just an argument. he's quick to snap back if given any criticism. his recent years as a stray have taught him to carry a cold heart and trust no one. titan doesn't believe showing mercy to any male that dares to enter his territory. it's easy to outwit him, if you're intelligent. since no one knows him, its easy to trick the female dogs into thinking hes a gentleman. although this akita is only interested in them so someone will admire him.

ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴀsɪᴄs

✦ this wolf is three years old, he goes by the name of shasta. wip

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

✦ first of all, he is welcoming to all wolves. shasta is mostly a happy go lucky canine. because of this, he does carry a puppy-ish disposition. he seems naive and innocent, but this does make it easy for him to manipulate others if it were to come to that. shasta has shown to be a rather submissive brute. his biggest fear is fighting anything physically. being so cowardly he will flee at the first sign of tenseness in the air. even if his friends need him to stand with them, he chooses to give into his fear. oddly against the instinct of his species, shasta dislikes hunting for himself. this male would beg a pack-mate to share food with him rather than go out and kill something on his own. all of these less-than-ideal traits are due to him being raised in captivity. he was born into a wolf sanctuary where the humans protected and nurtured him. they finally released him and the other wolves into the wild. the wolves disowned him seeing that they could provide for themselves and didn't want to take responsibility for the overgrown pup.

he is loyal in the sense that he'll provide a shoulder to lean on when needed. he'll listen to other's problems and won't turn to harsh judgment when they do something he dislikes. shasta is usually understanding. this wolf gives his friends second chances without question...which can be a flaw of his even if it is convenient for other wolves. another thing is that he's extremely affectionate. shasta loves to nuzzle up to any other wolf and can become somewhat clingy.

this male craves the company of others. he can't stand being alone and loves to be surrounded by many other wolves at once. he isn't very confident in himself but tries not to show that. shasta is open about his feelings and has no secrets. he loves to socialize with the wolves around him, whether they enjoy his company or not. however, shasta is sensible. he does know when to back down and keep his jaws shut. a trait that makes up for his lack of strength is that he's wonderful at tracking. his eyesight and sense of smell are extraordinary even in comparison to his own kind. shasta has shown to be great at problem-solving. he is empathetic and his mood changes in response to others'. lastly he is a bit of a hopeless romantic but doesn't think anyone would love him due to his naive mindset. he understands what others think of him, but tries to keep his head up.


ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

✦ shasta has a long, thin body that is carried on equally as thin legs. he lacks the muscle mass that most brutes carry.
his undercoat is thick and plush while his top fur is just barely coarse enough to protect him from the weather and other things. his eyes are a hazel/brown-ish color and his coat consists of grey, brown, and white mixed together. his markings have no distinct lines where they begin or end but the off-white color covers some of his chin, as well as his chest. his ears are just slightly smaller than most. shasta's snout slopes steadily down, then comes to a point with a charcoal colored nose.

ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴀsɪᴄs

✦ meet gypsy! she's an intact female, and a mix of border collie and shetland sheepdog.
she's in the grounded ranking currently, due to carrying puppies. her puppies are due rather
soon though! gypsy is around three years old, and joined the pack roughly five months ago.

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

✦ to start off, this collie is a vibrant and fun-loving female. she enjoys hunting, swimming, and plenty of other activities. this mostly comes from the herding breeds that she was born to. gypsy has been a zestful dog all of her life! she would consider herself as an extrovert, but all dogs need their space at times. she might seem carefree or reckless, but this canine is patient with others and knows how to settle down, as well as be silent when needed. she's curious and never wants to be left out of any news in the pack. gypsy experiences emotions very strongly, which can make her seem like she overreacts or gets emotional too easily. she's intelligent and quick to think of solutions.

in earlier days before joining the pack she was a drama queen, but this group has taught her the value of showing respect. seeing everyone care for one another made her realize she was just a part of a big universe and not the center of it. even though she's changed immensely, she still doesn't feel mature enough to take in a family. for quite a while now, she's avoided the subject of puppies.. which is difficult because of the excitement in the pack for these bundles of joy. this collie just simply isn't ready. gypsy has thought many times of finding a way to stop herself from having the puppies, or abandoning them once they arrive. then again, she couldn't see herself doing that. any moment in which she's mentioned her anxiety about the pregnancy to other dogs, they go on to say it's the anticipation that every new mother has. gypsy hasn't found a friend that she trusts enough to discuss her dilemma with and still hasn't made a decision.

her mate was a catahoula leopard dog mix, who the pack members had been skeptical of for a while. he joined the pack soon after she had. shasta wasn't particularly aggressive towards anyone but always gave off bad vibes.. to everyone but gypsy. shasta was extremely kind to her, to the point that seemed overboard. once he found that she was going to have pups, he turned on the pack and lashed out at her. the pack managed to chase him away and hasn't seen him since then.

ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

✦ has a rather lean, skinny frame. she has a medium length merle colored coat which is fluffier towards her back legs, as well as her chest. her ears are perked high and she stands at 15 inches tall.

whiskey is a mysterious dog to most, as she doesn't care
to dabble in socializing or making herself known to others.
she's content in being left to her own tasks, not often working
well in a group. it's not that she's a bad friend to others. whiskey
is certainly willing to help wherever she's called, but prefers
not to get caught up in relationships and status quo. it doesn't
make much sense to her why this all seems to important to the
others. her highest priority is her own well being. this great dane
is incredibly meticulous and chooses her allies carefully. she is
obsessive over structure and planning. she's always refused
to be spontaneous since chaos tends to fill her with worry.
any canine with a reckless streak sends her into a frenzy, the
idea of things not being carefully planned out (step by step)
frightens her to the point she will leave what ever group she's a
part of if they decide that's the way they wish to go about something.
whiskey is often restless, looking for different things to do and
make herself useful. it's not uncommon for her to be the first awake
and the last to rest, some aren't even sure if she gets any sleep!
she doesn't speak much, but when she does her words are purposeful

she's lived an interesting life, born in a busy city to a
successful line of show dogs. by the age of 6 months she'd ran away from the
home, unable to stand being stuck in a stuffy apartment with her mother and
caring owners. she didn't even give them a farewell before running off
and never looking back. from that point she lived as a street dog for some
short time, before being taken in by an orphanage worker, who thought the
children in the orphanage would benefit from having a dog around the place.
she didn't mind it there, and spent her days following the children, watching
out for any trouble and even being dressed up by them. whiskey was free to
come and go as she pleased, but always found herself feeling the urge to come
back to them. not only to have a full stomach and a roof over her head, but to
protect the humans there. she wasn't quite as friendly to the adults, as she
didn't allow them to touch her. the most interaction they had was food being
thrown into her bowl (sometimes scraps) and then they'd part ways. whiskey
didn't really have a name at the time though plenty of nicknames were thrown
around by the children who came and left. nana, princess, fluffy, even "shoes"
she went by for a short time. she'd learned to respond to any of these ridiculous
nicknames she was given. that was, until the orphanage was closed and she was
forced to part ways with the kids she'd grown close to. some of the employees
tried to take her, but she was difficult to catch and went back to being a street dog.

his owner adopted him when he was a young puppy, they've been traveling together ever since. his owner was troubled financially but that never stopped their travels until chance was stolen right from his arms and whisked away to the pound after being deemed a disturbance and nuisance to his apartment neighbors. his master moved a while after that, and because he wasn't allowed to own chance any more he just gave up on the ongoing battle to have him returned. chance lived in a stuffy shelter for a year and a half before getting adopted by a rich family with a Victorian style life, and mansion. he hated being shut up in their home and having his ears and tail tugged on by their children so he ran away very shortly after being adopted, and set off to find his best bud. but he never did find his old master, of course. he's been on the streets ever since and has become pretty street-savvy in this bustling world.
