this female eurasian eagle owl is three years old who
stands at 1.6 foot, her wingspan nearing 5.6 foot and
weighs around 2.3 kilograms.

❝ there isn't much to say about her past. she was born
alongside her sibling luther outside of 'the sanctuary'
and her father wanted to work underneath the great
grey owl, however the leading avian didn't see any use
in him and sent him to live down with the rest of the
lower classed birds. once nirvana and luther were old
enough, they became independent, both leaving the
nest to find their own place to live, however luther
was hunted down by the henchman under the laws of
nimbus and she never saw him again. she was able to
keep up with the tax for a while, but with the leading
avian becoming greedier than ever, she is starting to
find it a little difficult to keep up. ❞

History: Nimbus had loving parents and a loving home. They lived in the early times of great conflict. Despite the terrible events happening around them, his parents raised him in the hopes that he'll be the one to stand up and end the fight for superiority. Well, he fulfilled their wishes. But not in the way they wanted. Despite them urging Nimbus to show compassion and peaceful protest as he came of age, he always had the same urge to rule by force as the others did. Even as a child, he proved himself too rough to keep around other chicks. As he grew to be an adult, he took over the bird kingdom by force. Killing hundreds just to get his way to power, he even grew resentful towards his parents who were far from proud of the work he's done.

As he grew in power, other birds realized that there was no way they could defeat him. There were even some other birds who volunteered to serve him, as they admired how strong and hardy he was. The newly hired henchmen serve him loyally and lovingly. In their minds, he can do no wrong. He took advantage of these servants, and used them to punish anyone who doesn't succumb to his oppressive law. And now, he's slowly adding more and more to the Nourish Tax as he grows greedier and greedier.

Personality: Nimbus is a very cruel and powerful owl. He enjoyed his life of murder and power, and will stop at nothing to keep it all. For years after the battle for a leader ended, he caused a great famine throughout the bird kingdom due to him constantly taking the food and water they gather. He's growing old, and he wants to live longer by taking in the healthy resources that his kingdom practically gathers for him. Not only is he greedy and takes whatever he wants, but he is also brutal. He loves the feeling of getting rid of someone who gets in the way by his own talons, sometimes telling his minions to stay put as he does the job himself.

Role: Manipulative Adviser
Personality: Lagoon isn't very threatening and normally would never fit in either the rest of Nimbus' council but due to her manipulative nature she's managed to convince Nimbus her advice and plans are essential to his survival. She's logical, intelligent, manipulative, persuasive and can be very selfish when it comes to her life. Lagoon has managed to craft her own survival on lies and betrayals. She's surprisingly caring and good-natured when it comes to her family's survival, she'd do anything for them. Lagoon would never hurt anyone and uses her manipulative skills to trick others out of violence. Lagoon is grateful for the decent life she and her family have managed to lead under Nimbus' rule, but she fears it won't last much longer. She feels terrible for birds of the lower class, those who have to suffer in order for her to thrive. She's secretly rooting for the rebellion that has been gathering momentum lately, though she would never have the courage to join it herself.

History: This belted kingfisher had lived rough life, even before Nimbus' rule she was always charming and manipulating her way to dinner, but never laying a claw on anyone. She was willing to be friends with anyone in need, but mostly for her own benefit, after all, you get more supplies with a group. Lagoon knew when Nimbus first came into power that she wouldn't be able to survive on her own she'd soon be exposed as a lair and a coward if this were to happen Lagoon would most likely killed, so in retaliation she carefully worked her way up the ranks, lying, cheating and persuading her way to power. Soon she became so ensnared in a web of her own lies that to try to escape would mean she'd be accused of treason and killed on the spot! However her plan didn't work out the way she thought it would, an owl tipped Nimbus off as to how she was evading taxes and smuggling away food for her own benefit. An investigation was ordered into Lagoon and Nimbus unraveled the truths behind her manipulation and lies, something peculiar happened, instead of dying there and then, the powerful owls gave her a chance to redeem herself and work for them. They saw the huge advantage having a cunning and calculating bird would give them. After they graciously spared her life, Lagoon had to take the offer, what other option did she have? As soon as she'd proved her worth, she only started spinning her web of lies again, hoping once again, that it doesn't trap her instead of her enemies.

History: Birch grew up in a loving family and home. Unlike most other owl families, Birch was the only survivor in the clutch, so she was an only child. Things were tough since she was born during the time when Nimbus just became leader. Her family was often hungry, and her father grew sick and tired of it. One night, her family decided to sneak out of Misty Home to live somewhere more safe and easy. Unfortunately, they were caught and her father was killed for coming up with the idea of escape.
Because she is a massive breed of owl only second to the Great Grey, Nimbus certainly had to have a strong servant such as her. Nimbus has kept his eye on her for her entire adulthood, and he finally decided to confront her directly and make her his not-so-loyal servant. She is the only henchman of the bunch that hates her leader. She hates her job, and she hates how she gets treated well under Nimbus' rule compared to the rest. She is currently working on a good plan to overthrow this tyrant behind his back, and she is seeking the help of others.

Personality: Birch is a gentle giant, and her job is not fitting for her. Her heart goes out to all those suffering under this famine caused by the tax. She often sneaks bits of Nimbus' rations away and gives them to starving families. Birch especially has a soft spot for children, and she feels bad that they were born under these conditions. Luckily for them, she is bent on turning this negative situation into a positive one. She is trying to rally others up in a large group in hopes that they'll come up with a suitable plan to save the forest from permanent damage. She may be a big sweetheart, but that doesn't mean she is unable to fight. She may not be used to it, but she knows her way with her talons and beak.

History: Oak was raised in a normal but rough life here. Her parents didn't care too much for her, as they only saw her as an unnecessary obstacle in their own plan to take down Nimbus and claim the place of power for themselves. They just left the hollow to try and fail to take the place of power. Oak was left to starve until a neighboring owl saw a lone chick in the hollow after noticing the inactivity of the place. The neighboring owl helped her grow up, but he quickly left her when she grew to be an adult. She scrounges for food around the clock, rarely taking any time to sleep or relax. She is among the most poor of the owls here mostly because she is the weakest and least able to hunt. She cannot fight worth anything either. Although she was saved from death, she was never taught to hunt properly. Because of this, she gets the attention of many henchmen. They are just stalking, waiting for the day when she fails to pay off her debts. Luckily, Birch helps her out with a lot of those fees, and usually gives Oak a few lessons on hunting. They became secret friends.

Peronality: Oak is a fairly well mannered and quiet owl when she isn't on the move. Rarely talking without her friend, she does show respect towards anyone she meets to help herself avoid conflict. She is constantly trying to hunt or doing something to pay off the debts. Key word being try. But, she is very desperate to pay off the burdening fees, and she fears for her life a lot. When she does ever settle down and talk with another, it's either with Birch having to do with her hunting lessons, or a rare laid back conversation with another. Her confidence is close to none, and she cannot bear showing her poor hunting skills around any others. Oak never likes receiving pity for it, either.

However, this plan to take down the leader and make a better kingdom will be a lovely dream come true. And she is actually willing to be involved this time. She will get a brand new sense of confidence and a brand new sense of hope.
