lost does not understand the point of battle, and once, when he had to fight against the evil tides of the mediterranean sea, he couldn't bear harming another and gave into the crashing tides.
Extended History: the crash of the waves were what first welcome lost.
no one was quite sure where he came from, but he was created on the night where the pull of the moon rose the tide and the waves clashed violently upon the shore. the small pup smiled at the moon and she came down, stroking his fur, and when her hand left his first mark was there, a small seashell in the shape of a waxing moon. feeling delighted at this new addition to his colourful coat, the pup snuggled up to the moon, and it was believed that was when their bond was formed, an emotional string tied to the two, like a mother is bonded to her child. lost grew up among the sea, leaping and playing on the shore, diving deep into the dark waters, swimming at the surface with dolphins. he was a child of joy, and all sea creatures were attracted to him, pulled in by his twinkling laugh and broad grin.
when he became an adolescent, his personal very much changed. lost often retreated to his cave that he found in the midst of the ocean, emerging only to watch the moon when the darkness of night fell over the earth. she would sing to him and he would fall asleep, and from there the lull of the waters would carry him back to his home. lost became interested in scrolls, and would stay up later than the moon could see, studying and studying, perhaps about relevant information, but possibly about an ancient civilization that would provide no use to him in the future. the moon looked down on the young wolf and wondered where she had went wrong, if she could help him before it was too late.
and then, it was too late.
lost disappeared from the ocean, comepletely, and all the creatures in its depths searched for him, but could not find the wolf who had brought them so much joy and happiness in his youth. the ocean was at a loss, and a shadow seemed to fall upon what was perhaps the most bright and most merry place that you would ever come across.
he was first named lost because no one knew where he came from, but he is now named lost because no one knows where he went.
