ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀs ❯❯ For lack of a better name, Margaret's quirk is called "light shi
ft." With a large amount of concentration, she can shift the way light bou
nces off the planes of her face to change the color and, to a certain exte
nt, the shape of her features. Once the facade is established, her quirk r
equires only a passive amount of focus to maintain.

Her quirk is not combat-oriented in any way, so Margaret usually relies
on deception to carry out her plans, which suits her just fine. She's not a
team player. If she uses her quirk for too long, she does experience hea
daches and nausea. The upper limit is about 24 hours of nonstop usage.

STRANGER ➤ Sorry, but, like, who are you again?

Most people see Kasey as the typical air-headed daughter of Aphrodite, and she does little to dissuade them from that notion. She can be rather shallow and petty, which puts off the more down-to-earth and serious demigods of Camp Half-Blood from wanting to get to know her. She knows everyone's name and all the gossip about them, though, which can be a bit creepy.
ACQUAINTANCE ➤ You're cool, I guess...

Kasey does know how to read the mood and when to turn herself down a few notches, so she could carry a comfortable conversation with most people. Too much quiet can make her twitchy, however, and she retains her dramatic nature no matter who she's talking to.
ENEMY ➤ Ugh. That person? Yeah, I don't know them.

Boy, can Kasey hold a grudge. She's liable to spread nasty rumors and throw some sneaky curses at the people who have wronged her. She doesn't go out of her way to make enemies and an apology can sometimes be enough to soothe her, but some things she just can't move past.
FRIEND ➤ I just wanted you to know that you're, like, so amazing.

Kasey's friends are those who can put up with her often overwhelming personality and see the funny, caring person beneath it all. These are the people she knows she can go to for a quick spar, a deep chat, or even just idle gossip.
FAMILY ➤ Gods, I love you so much! You're like, the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Growing up as a single child raised by a single father, Kasey was delighted to discover that she does in fact have a mother and siblings. She holds a fierce loyalty to each and every one of her half-siblings, no matter how annoying or different from her they may be.

Thomas can be forgettable, his quiet nature pushing him into the background. He finds it difficult to socialize, even suffering from anxiety attacks if pushed to interact with too many people at once.
ACQUAINTANCE ➤ Um, hi?

Even just initiating a conversation by saying hello is a sign that Thomas is comfortable with that person. Not many people are able to comfortably sit in the silence that marks interactions with him.
ENEMY ➤ Huh?

There's really no reason why Thomas would dislike anyone. He forgives quite easily, and if anyone does see him as their enemy, he is oblivious to it.
FRIEND ➤ Do you like flowers? I grew you one.

Thomas cooks or grows flowers for the people he likes, more often than not shoving his offering into their hands before speeding off. His friends are the ones he goes to for help with archery or people.
FAMILY ➤ Thanks for listening.

The closer Thomas is with a person, the more he talks to them, so his half-siblings hear his voice a lot more than others in the camp. He loves going on rambling tangents about flowers and trees, but the slightest hint that his company is not welcome is enough to make him clam up, often to the frustration of his siblings.

Being the son of Tyche and all, people expect Ash to actually be able to maneuver life. Unfortunately, he manages to stumble over every step, knock over every cup, and generally be a nuisance to everyone around him. It doesn't help that he absolutely decimates everyone at poker.
ACQUAINTANCE ➤ Hey! Hey! Heeeyyy!!!

Ash throws himself into social situations wholeheartedly, and he is not afraid to tell people if they have good or bad "mojo." His energy and sense of humor can be a bit off-putting.
ENEMY ➤ Wait...are you the one I...man, I am so sorry about that.

Though he never intends to, Ash's clumsiness sometimes lands him in sticky situations. He's not the type to make enemies, but sometimes it just happens. Unfortunately, him attempting to avoid people often only lands him in worse situations.
FRIEND ➤ Hey, thanks for putting up with me.

Ash holds his friends tight to his heart. Growing up without much affection, he's a bit of an insecure mess when it comes to relationships, but he counts himself lucky for each close friend he has. He can be very clingy and sometimes tries too hard to be funny, but is extremely conscious of when people might be getting tired of him.

Ash doesn't have the best experience with family. The fact that he's so clumsy only adds to his insecurity, but he still thanks his mother for the siblings she gifted him with.

history. Born in a farming settlement far from the Fire Nation's capital, Kazu grew up used to manual labor and with little exposure to the indoctrinating education given at Fire Nation schools. His father, a firebender, was sent to war, while Kazu was allowed to remain with his mother and younger sister Kira due to a childhood injury and weak bending skills. He eventually became the local healer for his village, trying to teach his younger sister to follow in his footsteps. Though he holds no hatred towards anyone, he knows that what the fire nation is doing is wrong and is determined to restore balance to the world.

His village worked hard to make sure Kazu was seen only as a weak firebender when strangers, especially soldiers, passed through their settlement, knowing he would be taken away immediately if his strong connection to chi were to be discovered. He is able to sense living creatures and, to a certain extent, their emotions through shifts in color of their chi, and can block and unblock chi paths in the body to facilitate healing. His skill has made him a truly empathetic person at heart, as he can see the same energy flowing through every person and being used by every bender.

other. The childhood injury that exempted Kazu from military service is a badly burned leg. The fire was started by a group of soldiers passing by, with Kazu and Kira being stuck in the flames.The lack of firebenders in the village due to the military draft left it helpless to protect the children, and Kazu suffered a burned leg and Kira escaping relatively unscathed. As Kazu grew more skilled in unblocking chi he was able to restore the function of his leg, though he still walks with a limp after years of feigning injury to avoid the draft.

rubs when he interacts with patients.

fore going on to four years at medical school. His goal was always
pediatric surgery, as his younger sister had to undergo multiple su
rgeries when she was young due to a rare genetic illness. Because
of the hospital bills, his single mother struggled financially, which
pushed him to receive his undergraduate degree as soon as he co
uld. If he hadn't received a scholarship, he would not have been a
ble to go to med school. Now, Ace is completing his fellowship to
become fully certified.
