Name: Karma Lynn Portalan

Appearance: Dark skin (between Latin and black), thick, wavy black hair that reaches slightly past her shoulders when loose. She usually keeps it in a low pony or a bun, for convenience. 5'5" and 112 lbs. She has multiple scars across her arms and legs, and one stretching from her left temple to just below her cheekbone. She usually throws on whatever she can find, but she has a necklace with a sun made of gold that she always wears under her shirt.
Personality: Karma's always been fond of letting the others fight it out, then sneak in to grab what they've left behind. She knows that survival is what's important, and has blocked out all traces of sentiment and sympathy. On the outside, she is hard and cold and ruthless, and she never lets anyone see her moments of weakness, which are few and far between.
History: Karma was born into a poor home and raised by a single mother. When her mother was killed, she went into the streets, joined the Twines, and eventually rose to their higher ranks.
Family: Gabrielle Faye Portalan, mother, killed when Karma was nine. Tiberius Clarence Bristol, father, location unknown.

Personality: sarai is sweet and caring, a lover of peace. because of this, she often comes across as naïve and immature. she's a random fact nerd and has great thinking skills, but she prefers not to let people see how smart she is, afraid that they'll make fun of her. she's rather shy, but if someone else initiates the conversation, she'll be happy to talk for hours.

History: sarai's parents were killed in a car crash when she was a child. having no other living relatives, she was given into foster care. her current foster parents are only fostering her for the money it brings them -- they got special permission from the government to send her to peaks, to keep her out of their hair.
