history vinshuni was born in the wild, born to a large pack a wolves. She was the runt of her litter, always the last one to do things and at the bottom of the litter hierarchy. She always strived to be better, often asking her mother if she could go hunting and do the things her siblings were doing, but she refused because of her small frame. Vinshuni was picked on by the wolves in the pack, a omega. She was then captured by humans, and is the newest addition to the wolf pack.

Others/Backstory: Vanilla was bought from a professional breeder for a hefty price. Her looks and cooperative nature made her a desired specimen for the zoo. She was also trained to be docile around other owls. She lived with her mother the whole time while at the breeder's, so the separation was heartbreaking and jarring.

Personality: Vanilla is distant and shy like a lot of other owls, and shows little to no emotion. It didn't help when she was transitioned from the only home she knew for so long. She looks at others with a stone cold face and prefers to be alone. However, she does show a certain tenderness towards her roommate, and always cooperates with humans because she knows it will make things less difficult.

Others/Backstory: Arin was sent here as a pup and has adjusted to life easily. He got here after he was bought from a sanctuary that kept him as a rescue. He was unable to return to the wild due to his mother's abandonment.

Personality: Arin is very outgoing. He loves to play with the other wolves and to lick the zookeepers to death. Even though he gets bored sometimes, he always loved trying to make something interesting out of nothing. He yearns for love, and hopes that one day he may have a child of his own.

Others/Backstory: Cookie was brought to the zoo and born there along with the rest of her clutch. She was bought from an uneducated breeder, but was in fine shape ever since she hatched.

Personality: Cookie is mostly docile when stroked on the head or prodded gently. But she cannot stand to be picked up. She will not hesitate to bite anything that raises her off the ground. However, the humans don't seem to be affected much, as they still regularly take her in and out of her enclosure for showtime.

Species: Golden tiger
Relationship: Open for friends and/or romance
Others/Backstory: Val was found at 4 years old in the wild, severely injured and starving. The zoo took her in, and it's been a year since she first came here. There is still a large scar running along her left side. She doesn't like talking about it. Her health is considered too unstable to be released back into the wild.
Personality: Val is restless and angry, and constantly longs to be back out in the wild. She's easily irritated with humans and animals alike, and her only soft spot is cubs.
Any preferences when role playing?: I roleplay in third person and semi-lit, and I'd prefer at least 3-sentence responses!

Others/Backstory: Orion was born in captivity, and was raised to maturity there. He was shipped off across the country to his current zoo for an endangered animals exchange program, and misses his family back at his old zoo dearly.
Personality: Orion was raised with lots of human contact, so he is unusually sociable for a red panda. He loves messing with the zookeepers, and is unhappy when he gets ignored. Generally, he is sweet and approachable.
Any preferences when role playing?: Stated in Val's form.

Others/Backstory: Velvet arrived here via shipment. She was very expensive, as she is an endangered species. The transition was also very rough for her, as she was so used to her old home.

Personality: Velvet is bored and depressed a lot of the time. She never really bothers to spend time with other animals except her roommate, and spends most of her time sulking in her air-conditioned house. However, her day can easily be made if she just gets to play.

My name is Katoomba ! !

Username: Rain.
Animal name: Katoomba. (Cat-oom-ba)
Gender: Female
Species: Cheetah
Relationship w/: Nobody.
Others/Backstory: She was born to a healthy mother, who birthed three other cubs. Unfortunately, a hyena pack attacked. All were lost, including her mother. She wandered onto a trail and luckily, one of the natives found her and called someone to take her, who would care for her. She was left with a limp from the hyenas, and a few scars, but nothing as deep as the wounds from her family's death. She was transferred to different zoos, all of which, thought she was sick or depressed simply because she wouldn't interact with the others of her species. She eventually was taken here, at the age of two.
Personality:Kat, or Katoomba, is extremely reserved. She is absolutely terrible at striking up a conversation, and even if she tries, it never ends well. She is rather graceful, but whenever she or someone else attempts to converse, all of her gracefulness is gone.. And replaced with a mess. She longs to escape her enclosure and venture out, meet other animals perhaps.
