er. she is the most disfigured of the bunch, and is always working hard to hide her scars from the eyes of strangers.
meena petrova —— 26 —— house petrova
the most beautiful daughter of azorius. known throughout tulor for it. she is, however, the worst fighter. and has fa
ced a lot of backlash because of it. her leg and arm have been amputated, and she relies on the hel
p of dark magic for prosthetics. they are glamoured, so no one can quite tell, but they are inhumanly strong, as az
orius wanted it that way.
calypso petrova —— 19 —— house petrova
a headstrong leader type who doubles as an exceptional swordsman. her entire life, she has been looked down upo
n and punished for her rebellious, and her tendency to rally her sisters against azorius and iliana. in
her endeavors, she has suffered greatly from burns that have covered half of her body.
elyza petrova —— 15 —— house petrova
the youngest, most innocent daughter of azorius. unlike her sisters, she hasn't been battling long enough to face t
he kind of scars they have--but she is quite distant, and mentally seems much younger than she real
ly is. her older sisters (with the exception of iliana) are very protective of her.

visimar blackwood —— 25 —— house blackwood
younger brother of alonis. second in line for the tulorian throne. does not anticipate taking the throne, and would
not want to take it from alonis. he is a skilled hunter, and a talented archer.
tiro blackwood —— 12 —— house blackwood
the youngest brother of alonis. third in line for the tulorian throne. he is babied the most (by literally... everyone)
but is extremely mature for is age. loves to read and tell stories.
holtan tamburlaine —— 34 —— house blackwood
holtan is alonis' lieutenant. house tamburlaine is of droele, making holtan a notable traitor of the droelite throne.
he has lived in tulor for quite some time now, and has devoted his life to serving the brother gods,
thus earning the trust of house blackwood/the tulorian throne--which has taken him as if he was one of their own.
a huge flirt + people pleaser. side-eyes people often.
berengiere blackwood —— 50 —— house blackwood
the mostly-absent queen of tulor. she's a very private person, and really only ever socializes with her children/fam
ily. she married young, but seems much older than she is.
bausan blackwood —— 62 —— house blackwood
the current king of tulor. he's been king for over thirty years, and throughout this time--tulor has experienced one
of it's most peaceful reigns ever seen. he favors being neutral over all else, and knows very well
when to limit himself. he's not too available when it comes to emotions outside of the ones a king should adopt, w
hich has made family life a bit difficult for him.

sagar aroix —— 58 —— house aroix
the current head of house aroix. for as long as anyone could remember--he was always a complete and utter lunat
ic--and that did not translate well when he became a father. the older he's gotten, the worse it
has become--and while his children have learned to put up with it (for the most part), his outbursts of violent/bar
baric outbursts are hard to ignore. some link his episodes to the death of his wife.

craris the maniac —— immortal —— house mercatel
a gangling shadow demon that was accidentally revived in an emotional episode when lady celemyse was younger.
has the ability to form shadow soldiers out of dark magic--and further control them with the use
of a flute. a homicidal maniac that makes celemyse look like a saint. he's unpredictable, and often times acts on i
mpulse. he's also a rather lively character who hashes out pet names for even the most serious of
commanders.

ludovic forsythe —— 32 —— house charmant
hand of prince taliesin. if the prince ever really had a friend--it was ludovic. the man has lived in droele his entire
life, ans has shown nothing but devotion towards the kingdom. pretty much acts for taliesin, and
only reall speaks when spoken to. tends to be a part of virtually all of prince taliesin charmant's conversations.

miriela meystrell —— 57 —— house meystrell
mother of everlina, rosamund, and luella. former queen. arrived in tulor for the wedding (that she arranged on be
half of her queen daughter) that never happened. stuck in tulor.
luella meystrell —— 17 —— house meystrell
younger sister of everlina and rosamund. she is always at her mother's side like an eager little shadow. she is also s
tuck in tulor for the time being.

ynes itsasoa —— 25 —— the harpies
edith's second in command. was sent with miriela + luella to protect them while in tulor.
eilaria itsasoa —— 21 —— the harpies
a harpy messenger, also sent to tulor. backup to her older sister, ynes. not obscenely high ranking, but trusted none
the less.
orisa itsasoa —— 30 —— the harpies
sent with rosamund to protect her during her travels. was actively sending edith messages until they suddenly cam
e to a stop. not long after, orisa was sent back to ricih--dead.
amara itsasoa —— 20 —— the harpies
amara, like sylmae, always showed high marks. she was sent to live in droele three years ago to serve house merca
tel as a servant. rather close to celemyse, and has been informing edith secretly all this time.
sylmae itsasoa —— 18 —— the harpies
graduated years ago as an apprentice. showed high marks in her training, and was therefore trusted as a spy in on
e of the most ferocious of houses--house petrova. has been settled in the house for quite some time.

ysmena soulary —— 55 —— house soulary
the current head of soulary. although she puts a lot of faith in her son, antonius, she's very capable of doing things
on her own. she makes demands with an iron fist, and puts anyone who dares spit on the meystrell n
ame/the mother to shame. she's nearly identical to her son--however, she has an easier time putting her emotions
on the side when it comes to more serious endeavors.

alonis blackwood — twenty-nine years old — tulorian

- oldest of the blackwood sons.
- a mama's boy. whenever they walk together, she holds onto his arm for sure.
- smiles A LOT and has a big pretty smile. but can go to a literal scowl in .2 seconds, especially when in the
company of people he finds unsavory.
- really good with kids. he'll get down on one knee to talk to them and make them feel rlly important + sma
rt. lets his little cousins ride his shoulders + play with his hair. also play sword
fights. he has dramatic deaths paired with soliloquies down at this point.
- yells/talks over people when he's super mad. has to leave the room because he gets v upset.
- although he is goofy around kids, he's super serious around adults. especially his parents/father.
- a total romantic. flowers, long walks on the beach, all that jazz. was a little taken aback by the arranged
marriage thrown at him--but he's convinced that he could love her, regardless
of the fact that he's never met her. he gives himself too much credit.
- a pisces tbh. super dreamy, but also quite moody at the drop of a hat. will say 'i'm fine' in the most... not
fine voice. if you keep asking him when he's like this he'll explode and start g
oing on about everything about you that bugs him.
- spends a lot of time in the woods. it's his quiet space, where he goes to unwind. he can sit for hours just b
eing quiet. all the time he has spent in the woods has lead to him knowing ab
out all kinds of secret routes to take.
- an experienced jouster. translates in his horseback riding. goes rlly fast like he's a jockey or something. o
thers have a hard time keeping up with him.
- always wants to be the hero. he's jumped into rivers to save children and chased thieves down to stop them,
and yet--he's still quite naive to how cruel the world really can be.
- his middle brother is named visimar--he is twenty five. and his youngest brother is tiro, and he is twelve ye
ars old. he's exceptionally close to both of his brothers--and they're all rather d
ifficult to separate. they get rowdy together, and have arrived to supper covered in dirt more often than on
ce--especially when vis and alonis were younger. alonis would be absolutely cr
ushed if anything happened to either of his brothers.
- always wanted to be a dad. wants like... seven kids easy. has the names in his head and everything.
- loves to take care of animals. he has a couple horses of his own, and breeds
weimaraners.

x. goes by rosa or rosie. her sisters and/or close friends fondly call her roo.
x. knew she would never have the throne, so she was practically raised to be married or sent off. pretty much
never went outside as a child. her fragility/thinness is what makes her seem younger.
x. kind of just goes with the flow. not because she's unable to form an opinion, but rosa has difficulty speaking
out if she's personally against something because she's afraid of disappointing others.
x. a massive wimp and a big crybaby. has always tried to hold it in for the sake of appearances but her lips will
still quiver and her eyes will get all watery despite her best efforts.
x. secretly would like to travel uatonia someday. knows very well that is not her fate and she certainly isn't
brave enough to take the first step, but a tiny part of her still hopes. would read old tales of romance and
adventure instead of doing her studies when nobody was looking.
x. kind to pretty much anything/anyone. would cry if she killed a fly who didn't deserve it. it's something that could
be admired about her, but also is one of her biggest, more dangerous flaws.
x. naive about the outside world, but very book smart. has been practicing various different languages besides her own
since she was a child.
x. before she was kidnapped, she was a bit of a clean freak. that's one thing she was picky about. if she saw something
dirty or out of place, she would bit her lip about it but it would physically pain her to not say anything. would go
clean/fix whatever it is once alone.
x. really doesn't speak unless spoken too. has a gentle tone of voice, which is pretty much to be expected.
x. like the rest of ricih, is v v spiritual. believes in the mother with all her heart, prays when she's in a bind. her faith
in her is another thing that has kept rosie going. believes due to her dedication, that she will be protected during
these trying times.


x. as ida, the charmont servant girl, she hardly speaks at all. she's terrified for her life, and those she loves. which
is why disguising her would be so easy, yet incredibly traumatizing. rosa occasionally sees someone she knows
and someone who could help her, but is virtually helpless to do anything about her situation.
x. usually they don't even refer to her by ida, but it's more for the reliability of her disguise.
x. v heavily reliant on the fairytale books she read before. it's the only thing giving her hope, thinking her prince
charming would save her... or at least, her sisters will realize the truth.

iliana petrova | twenty-three years old

- is the middle child out of all of azorius's daughters and, impressively, his favorite.
- grew up quiet and very obediently. followed her father's ever command without
much question, even the harsh and cruel ones directed to herself or anyone else.
- her father enjoyed pitting his daughters against one another in one on one duels,
with spoils and attention for the victor and ungodly punishments for the loser.
punishments ranged from solitary confinement to physical mutilation. thankfully,
iliana has never lost a match, securing her title as the "favorite" among her sisters.
- she has four sisters: cerys (32), meena (26), calypso (19), elyza (15)
- highly skilled at fighting, both hands-on and with weapons, and knowledgeable
when it comes to the art of battling. her father has taught her well, to the point
where she has even picked up ever ounce of his brutality, and the daily matches
with her sisters while growing up aided in honing her physical skills.
- could often be seen training with the inmates at madstone, whether they like it
or not. it began with her father forcing her into cage matches with the prisoners,
but she grew to actually enjoy it.
- literally exactly the same as her sadistic father, almost a carbon copy from her
physical appearance to her persona, but is just much better at hiding it.
- has always been a rather reclusive individual, but highly dependable and efficient.
when talked to, she's charmingly mannered if not slightly detached. had they known
better, no one would suspect that she was the daughter of azorius petrova.
- can totally be scary as hell when she wants to be. can flip the switch in 2 seconds
flat so watch out.
- her sisters absolutely hate her, to the point of wanting her dead. they typically
blame iliana for the cruel punishments they had to endure throughout their lives,
especially the drastic scarring it caused in their childhood.
- very indifferent to life and the world due to her upbringing. her father forced
his children to watch as he tortured his prisoners among various things.
- works closely with her dad. knows all the ins and outs and secrets of madstone,
almost like it's the back of her hand.

i. he is strictly referred to as antonius, captain, or lord soulary. permission to call him otherwise of only
granted to those closest to him, anton being a more commonly used nickname and ant being the least a
mong those who have this privilege. ii. anton is very much about following the rules, and is quick to hel
p others correct their mistakes. iii. although he tries his best to do this to where he is not too imposing,
the wrong impression is often given. iv. he is also extremely loyal to both the mother and house meystr
all, so much so that his devotion is a little too assertive at times, but only because he cares so deeply. v.
other than being a stickler for the rules, antonius is a talented sailor and has been sailing since before h
e could read. vi. as a result, he is now one of the top sailors in the venusian isles.
