Cloud lived in fishman ls land with his uncle, since his parents paid him no mind. Him, his uncle and a couple hung around in the new fishman district. the group of fishmen and merfolk supported humans, creating a group that one day would help unite the two races at last. Cloud became interested when his uncle told him a story of when he was a Navigator for human pirates. Cloud took it upon his self to learn how to become a good Navigator like his uncle. During his studies, fishman island was attack by a large group of human hunter that manged to spread alot of chaos. cloud some how escaped, remembering what his uncle said about not hating humans.

After he left fishman island,Cloud was taken in by a woman in her daughter who shared the same dreams as him. Two had plans to set sea together,but his "sister" was attacked by an illness. Her wish was for cloud to set to sea without her, so he left a few days after to only find his traveling with an Ex Navigator by the name of Fizz. A middle age human man with the turtle-turtle devil fruit. He lost his crew in a terrible storm and ended up near the ended up in his current location. The two manged to find a island in the grand line with an abandoned lab on it. With the help of fizz,Cloud mad the map of the island and went to explore in the lab. Inside in a room full of wire,they found a devil fruit labbed "Number 12" . When cloud reached for it, he tripped an alarm. The two of them manged to escape the lab and island
