Eno was actually a breeding project by some college kids. The duo knew how much money they could get for a High-Content Wolf Dog. So they called up someone they knew with "domesticated" wolves to breed with a German Shepherd they had bought. In only a few months, Eno was born. The only one of the litter. While the duo were disappointed, they knew they'd at least get some good cash for the "dog".
Eno was quite a hyper, fast-paced puppy. He loved to run, to jump, to have a lot of space. When he was bought by a rich girl, he thought he would have the home of his dreams. Instead, Eno was shoved into a crate, barely bigger than himself. He was used as a topic piece, as a trophy. Fingers would prod and touch and pull on his ears, his mouth, his fur. He grew aggressive, snapping at any hands that reached through the bars, growling when approached. It wasn't his fault! He was the one being mistreated!
Food was used to make him behave. If he did something wrong, like growl, snap, or even paw at the edge of the cage, his meager supply of food would be cut off until he was almost dead. If he pulled too hard on one of his rare walks, he would get hit, things would be thrown at him, one time he even got burnt. Eno quickly learned to lay there, almost motionless, letting the hands defile him.
He was forced to breed other dogs, to make more Wolf-Dogs, to make more money. It was one of these times where he bit the girl and escaped, only to be picked up by a bunch of faceless men in white suits. He tried to fight, but they overpowered him with a strange drug that sapped him of his strength and forced him to sleep.
When he awoke, he was free! He found himself in the middle of a forest, no humans in site. He had a strange, bulky collar around his neck, but it was a small price to pay for his freedom.
